Very interesting hotel you are staying overnight in a museum. Shower is a bit slippery and workout equipment in the gym doesn’t work but no one stays here to work out the room is super interesting with the button to flush the toilet even being an old style having awesome port holes in the room over looking the ocean and the service desk being prompt and kind even when they’re busy. If you’re looking for the ritz this isn’t it if you’re looking to stay inside a 90 year old ship and enjoy the history this is for you. There’s no where like it

The price of a room you would expect the ac to at least work however the linens and bedroom set was lovely and clean. The food on the boat is not very good and extremely over priced, we went off boat in the end. It’s cool for a history stay and a shame to see it so run down in many areas. I hope they get on top of any renovations.

Roaming the ship was a great experience.

We had great and unique experience staying at Queen Mary. We loved the historic aspect of the venue and also being able to walk around easily without any over crowd. The food was also yummy.

It was out first time ever being on the Queen Mary. It was fabulous. The staff are very friendly and professional.

You are in a ship that sailed across the Atlantic 100’s of times. It’s like a museum and hotel in one. The kids love it!

Our room smelled like mildew and it was hot! The AC did not work! I would not stay there agian. Everything else was good.

The Queen Mary is a unique hotel experience and a great place to stay for a night. It is quite out the way and from Long Beach main area, so need car or Uber to get anywhere. A free shuttle into the main area would make it a place to stay for more than one night. We had dinner in the Promenade cafe and were very happy with the food and service there. We also really enjoyed exploring the ship, with its interesting exhibitions and information. Roons were comfortable and room temperature perfect.

Love the history of the ship. I sailed in adjacent with the QM in 1967 on a pirate ship. Went to the mortgage burning party with my father years later. Had our school prom on the QM in 1973. My wife and I spent our 25th anniversary there. It's very sad to see the decay of the ship. It would be wonderful if there was a quaint library to sit in and read, similar to todays cruise ships. Purchase some deck chairs and create an area on the poop deck and fantail for the visitors staying on the ship. Not talking about one or two, go big like 50! Create an atmosphere as if you were at sea. The staff should be wearing traditional uniforms. They don't have to be "starchy". But take the time to look and play the part. Take them on a cruise so they can see what they should be portraiting.

The property is very close to the carnival port

No heating or cooling. Room was cold, desk offered extra blankets. Lighting poor, fixtures not working. Shower warm, not hot. Could hear everything in adjoining rooms. Would not stay or recommend this venue.

It was sad that the hotel did not offer anything for our or my Birthday/10th anniversary. I worked at a Marriott hotel and we always surprised our guests with fun gifts to congratulate them. Queen Mary even has a spot on their check in website to put why you are visiting and asks for the occasion. Oh well..disappointment. Even booking for dinner on the ship, same thing. Asked if we were celebrating anything and I was so excited to tell them that it was my 10th anniversary and 60th birthday. Got nothing ); Another sad thing is the ship is falling apart badly. I thought that they were refurbishing the hotel when they were closed? I just feel like the ship one day will not be an attraction and closed to the public. Love the Queen Mary. Love the Nostalgia of her and her history. Other than that, my husband and I enjoyed our dinner and our walk around the ship.

We really enjoyed our stay at Queen Mary

The property is unique and unlike another run of the mill hotel chain. We enjoyed the history behind the ship, the historic exhibits, and the comfort of the beds. We did not enjoy how thin the walls were as even our neighbor on his cell phone was disturbing our sleep. The coffee shop ran out of milk on 2 of the 4 mornings that we were there which was just kind of odd for a coffee shop.
