Was an okay stay, much better than the last time I stayed. Great to see improvements, keep going! 🙌

The room was clean,One girl seemed to be running everything,the Breakfast was poor the Mushrooms were dried overcooked, the facilities were lacking no lift to the first floor bedrooms only a flight of stairs which we had to use and carry all our bags and my wifes medical equipment ( in a backpack ) the room was a 10minute walk from the car park ( both of us are registered disabled ) no help was offered from the staff. Last of all the directions to the hotel through country lanes was also poor. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Hotel was great only slight issue was the bed being rather soft not whst we are use to

No communication from staff, there is a mobile number to ring but it’s never answered. Boiled a kettle and the fire alarm went off. Dirty rooms last decorated in the the 1980s probably. Mould around the shower. Very grim place to stay

Arrived & the lovely young girl on reception was fabulous. Turned out the same girl was the waitress & pot washer I will presume. She was excellent. Sat down for dinner, the pizza was amazing, the chicken burger could have been a smaller piece, too big for a bun, but otherwise ok. The table cloths were badly stained & needed to be changed. The room was lovely, clearly been recently decorated & very clean. Not water for a shower in the morning, so a cold douche it was haha It’s such a shame what I would presume previously was a stunning hotel, in the most lovely location has been let go to ruin. Definitely needs some money spending on it. But for what we paid it was a good stay.

I was informed when I turned up that the restaurant was shut. Place was in the middle of nowhere. Hotel looks really run down. I didn’t stay.

Great staff, nice hotel although in need of some refurbishment it was a comfortable stay and would be happy to stay there again.

Room was very clean, comfortable sleep, but some of the lights did not work, and a spoon was missing for the tea/coffee facilities. Number 37 had a broken toilet. Overall clean and breakfast was lovely

If you require warm,cosy,clean rooms avoid this place.

Friendly and Relaxing

Booking was for 2 adults 1 child. Also messaged to say would be bringing dog On arrival nice looking hotel but clearly needed a good deep clean. Got checked in to find was put in a room with a single and a double. Get a phone call 2 min later saying had extra charges to pay. 1 for the dog totally get that 2 extra charges for room to be told that the room they had given me wasn't what I had booked and I had to pay extra. So I make a booking for the correct amount of people get given a room but have to pay extra for the privilege in a hotel that is clearly not fully at all. Evening meal. £25 for a small piece of steak with 2shrivelled mushrooms and 3 small tomatoes. Nachos chucked on a plate with conjealed cheese Crispy chicken burger way pay crispy and left in the fryer way too long. Breakfast. What a joke Sour milk left out for cereal. No glasses for juice. Fruit basket was 5satumas. Bread for toast stale Bacon fried on a hob then reheated in hob. Sausages are they even for real. My dog wouldn't even eat them. Beans over microwaved and old Hash browns had more grease than the fryer Poached eggs not even poached. The same meet of staff that checked us in that took evening meal then took breakfast clearly run off her feet but to be honest there wasn't much going on in between the shoulders when challenged about the breakfast a meager apology was given. sent email to hotel to be met with no response at all so now leaving this review... Terrible place
