The room was clean in that there was no visible dirt, but the property is in need of a significant update. The room felt very dated, with yellowed lampshades, an aging shower curtain, and walls that had been painted over peeling wallpaper. Overall, it had a tired, dingy appearance despite being clean.
The lighting was quite poor, and there were no sheer curtains on the windows, so opening the drapes meant anyone in the parking lot could see directly into the room. The air conditioner was also extremely loud, making it difficult to enjoy a quiet night's sleep.
The complimentary breakfast was disappointing. It was a very basic continental breakfast, with bagels and English muffins still in their original Great Value packaging rather than being attractively displayed. The muffins were pre-packaged, and the only fruit option was packaged fruit cups. While the breakfast was adequate, it lacked the quality and presentation many travelers have come to expect.
Overall, while the room was clean, the property would benefit greatly from renovations and improvements to both the guest rooms and breakfast experience.
