Best soft pillow ever, brilliant solo night getaway.

Room was fine, bathroom a little tired but clean and serviceable. Very surprised to find having paid for a room for the night we were then asked to pay to park our car in the hotel car park overnight ! And the restaurant was over priced and had the cheek to add 12.5% service charge on the bill, it's a budget hotel, not fine dining !

Nice amenities, friendly staff and the room was well presented.

The hotel generally is fine. I was happy with the room size, bed size and comfort. I was not happy with the food price or quality, the food was very poor when measured against the price. I was also not happy that I had to pay extra for parking. There was very little in the way of tea, coffee and milk in the room, bare minimum. No biscuits or bottled water as you get in a lot of hotels. The general state of the hotel is a little tired. You can clearly see they are saving money on maintenance. The pool is pretty small and the shallow end made swimming lengths difficult. I was not impressed with the hot tub, no controls. However the steam room is fantastic, happy to say this is the best steam room I have been in, in a long time. I also liked the fact that there is a spinner in the changing room for your swim suite. If you decide to stay here I would certainly recommend eating else where.

Reception gentleman not particularly welcoming or smiley but efficient. Clean room, pool basic and lots of noise and children but ok. Value for money place. Dining room young ladies lovely and courteous.

We were noy aware of a free breakfast offer. Our dinner was notbgood. Dry chicken in both of main courses. Missing parsley and garlic in one meal, side sald missing and had to ask for it.

From the reception desk to departure this Holiday Inn was a joy to stay in, all the services you require, Comfy Large bed, Dining area and Bar, Staff were attentive and polite. Honestly, we will not hesitate to book here again the next time we journey to Aylesbury.

A staff member entered the room without permission and even turned on the lights . This was brought to the manager's attention, but they refused to take accountability or address the significant safety concern.

It was an emergency booking and the place provided the much needed rest.. the sofa bed was very sub par and not very comfortable… the main bed was good.

I really don’t like the creeping charges, £5 for parking, £50 deposit “in case you spend it”, feels cheap. Will probably go somewhere else next time as not the cheapest option anyway.
