Great location

Room ok tv not working so well. Staff did check and got maintenance to see it. They didn't do anything. Less than half channels watchable. Couldn't get BBC1 up at all . Not had any issue on previous visits. Receptionist on arrival was good our room was ready despite us being early. Like the location and convenience of this hotel would still use again.

Clean room, friendly staff and great bar and location

When checking in was given a room that hadn't been cleaned from last occupant, so had to return to reception and was given key to alternative room. Box of chocs received as compensation for inconvenience. Heating controls in some rooms not very good - of the 3 rooms 2 were far too hot and couldn't be cooled down.

A very nice place, very central. We have a fantastic room, very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and restaurant and bar we cosy and of a good quality

Most of the hotel was great. Mattress was very uncomfortable

Lovely room, didn’t have bfast there. Good parking available but note we checked in around 5pm and had the last space! There is a charge of £10 which may irritate some! Nice atmosphere in the bar area (called the Bear) 10% of drinks for residents appreciated. An excellent location within easy walking distance of the town centre, pubs and restaurants etc - would recommend and return.

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room the size the bed was great. Everything I wanted in an overnight stay or even longer.
