Clean. Excellent service. Friendly and accommodating staff. Location is just a short walk from downtown shops. Underground parking with quick access to elevators. Pool and spa is lovely along with the atmosphere. Pet friendly as well. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Good stay for the price. A little outdated decor. Dusty in behind nightstands. Some of the light switches, plugs and plate covers are in need of maintenance/replacement as they are borderline electrical hazards. Paint touch-ups on door trim...why not just paint to the whole thing?? Those spot touch-ups make the place look even more run down than it is. Parking below is a tight squeeze, so avoid showing up in big trucks, large SUVs, or mini-vans. Our room had no airconditioning unit; not sure all rooms are like this. (good thing May is not hot). You'll want to check this before booking. OK for the price when on a budget.

Absolutely stunning suite. The room was super clean, bathrooms and hot tub was spotless! Highly recommend! We will be back!

Absolutely terrible chlorine smell on the first floor and into the rooms. The room needs updating, and a person came into our room prior to checkout without knocking. Would not stay here again.

Our room on the fourth floor was clean and well maintained. All in all a nice hotel and all of the staff we interacted with were pleasant and professional.

Quiet, blackout curtains, comfy beds/pillows. A little further down the strip so about a 15 - 17 min walk to the heart of downtown. Nice to be able to order room service, starting at 6:30. Large parkade, parking included. Would stay again!

Rooms were clean ,comfortable and quiet.. Staff were very friendly, the only downside is no coffee available until the Keg opens and the price of a cup of coffee is pricey... That would be my only " complaint " be nice if they still had complimentary coffe in the lobby for guests. I would recommend this hotel for future stays...

No microwave

Beautiful hotel and kind staff, I had a suite room with a loft and jet tub. It was a beautiful room. The only issue was the upstairs windows would not open, did not have curtains, and the room did not have A/C. It was +20 outside and the upstairs/bedroom area was at least 7 degrees hotter. I can't sleep easily when it's above 20c, at home I usually prefer 18c. I had paid a lot of money for this room, I was surprised that it wouldn't have been set up better, for personal comfort. I am not someone who likes to make a fuss so I debated what to do next. I finally settled on talking to the front desk and explained that there was no way I'd be able to sleep in that room. They said they'd send maintenance. A very helpful young man came to the room and he brought not 1 but 2 portable a/c units, and got 1 window open upstairs. One a/c unit he put upstairs and one for downstairs. He was the most helpful and professional hotel employee I've ever seen. The rest of my time there was far more comfortable. A big thank you to him! A final thought: the hotels in Banff often look good in the photos but are all in need of tlc, I'm not sure if the a/c in the hotel was down, or if it did not exist but having traveled as much as I do, I very rarely find rooms that dont have A/C. The hotel has "spa" in its name. That obviously is there to encourage the idea of rest and healing. Had they not brought portable a/c units into my room I would have had a very negative experience indeed.
