It’s such a unique property and hard to “rate”. The room was extremely dated, but spacious and comfortable for the most part. The property is sprawling and locating our building took a while. There was a wedding there the night we stayed and it really took over…everything. Made for a later and noisier night than hoped. The tavern was historic and interesting, but again, noisy and crowded. I would try it again on a weeknight, but it’s not high on amenities.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable., but a little tired. We ate in the restaurant whose food was good but it was so cold I had to go to my room and get a jacket. Won’t go back without dressing for winter.

Chrissy was so nice as our server! I left my bag behind and they held on to it. No money was missing and they asked a few questions to be sure the right person got it. That says a lot right there. The bakery help was genuinely caring and helpful. Try the pecan sticky buns! You ll thank me! The pool was so clean. It's salt water according to my husband. It was very empty too. This is very close to Old Sturbridge Village.

Motor lodge room smelled very damp / moldy.

We enjoyed our stay in Publick House. It has its charm, the area and the room were clean. Plus, they have rooms where you can stay with pets.

We loved our stay! We were traveling from Michigan to Maine and only had the opportunity to stay one night, but we had a wonderful meal at the tavern on site. The bakery options were loved by my children, and we all enjoyed walking the grounds. Would definitely return!

Enjoyed our stay, excellent dinner in the Tavern. Croissants and nut bread from bakery were excellent .

Quiet, pleasant oasis, easy drive off 84/90. Perfect for our overnight, transit stay

The suite was nice and large, although in a separate building from check-in. The hotel was quiet and the windows kept the traffic noise away. Food at the tavern was so-so. There was a large wedding party in the main dining room. Free breakfast was nice although a bit of an outdoor walk to the bakery. Fortunately the weather was lovely. A rainy day would probably have caused us to skip it.

Simply a beautiful place in beautiful settings. With a very relaxed atmosphere and full of history.

Very clean and quiet despite it being a busy place. We ate at the Tavern which served great scallops. Landscape very attractive.

Love the staff, rooms and the history of the place. Only complaint was cold french fries at the tavern, second time it's happened, I reckon not too bad a problem but it's the little things.

Ça pu le pipi che chien dans notre chambre… Mise à part ça chambre grand, climatisé salle de bains très petite… l’endroit est jolie. Pas vraiment un petit dej mais sympathique la boulangerie avec boulangers sympa ! Tout fermé à 20h… même le restaurant… bizarre
