Everything was excellent except for the bathtub where the pipe was clogged and the water was accumulated very soon.

Loved this hotel!! The hotel was clean, staff went beyond the expectations. It’s a 20 min walk from the Auroa Zoo and there is alot of places to eat near by. They had tight security. They didn’t let any car go in unless you were staying there. Elevator would not move unless you had an activated room key. Looking forward to staying again next year!

Check-in was a disaster. Got there at 3:25pm, Mr. Angel assisted us. Was told our room would be ready in 5 minutes so to wait briefly. We went to a sitting area on the side, 50 minutes later no word. I went back to the desk and informed I had been waiting about 1 hour. At that time they confirmed our room was clean and we were given keys. The room was absolutely beautiful but you don’t get wash cloths. Having traveled a lot, never had to ask for that.

as usual the the service was very good, i will appreciated a lot if the shower spout and head will work better the bath water does not drain properly the bathroom itself loooked old, the shower head did not have enough pressure, the bethroom door wasan old sliding piece of wood, there was not body lotion, another issue is that the shuttle service is not available if you fly after 11:00 pm

Barcelo needs to improve their check-in process. It takes way too long! Also it can be busy and they may only have one staff checking people in. Can take 45 minutes of wait time! Not good!

The breakfast menu is the same every day; guests had to wait in line between 10 and 20 minutes for table assignment. The staff at the VIP lounge and restaurant are attentive and always willing to help. The New Year’s Eve dinner was of average quality, with no dress code enforced and the reserved schedule was not respected. The hotel has large rooms suitable for hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration with catering and a live band.

Nice hotel with attentive staff! The breakfast buffet was great, also the Japanese resteraunt. Areas and room were clean, beds and pillows were comfy. Would definitely stay again!
