Everything is good, staffs friendly, will visit again

No prior notice for “no spa nor massage” from Saturday to Monday.

Although the meal in the restaurant in the evening was very good. The breakfast was very poor. The ingredients was of a very poor quality. Cereals were sub standard. As for the main breakfast, hash browns, bacon, baked beans were absolutely shocking. The bacon itself was barely cooked and the eggs were very similar. On top of this the plates were stone cold. When l asked the waiter why, he challenged the chef who hadn’t put the warmer draw on. Even the fruit juice was totally tasteless.

i stay here often and it’s super close to the Metro centre.

This is a fantastic hotel. Everything about it is brilliant. The staff are amazing and the food is great. The location is ideally suited for a road trip or longer stay to visit the city centre. I have stayed here before and will again.

Right next to metroocentre. Free parking and kids stay in the pool till 2100.

We have stayed there on 3 separate occasions and always impressed with the hotel. Friendly polite staff clean room comfy beds. Kids love the pool

Staff were lovely at reception, very helpful & pleasant. I do enjoy a smiling welcome. Also bar staff were great too. Bed was super-comfy. Good size room & shower room. Downside was having no fridge in the room for a hot July weekend & that the toilet seat was stained with what I assume to be fake tan. Pool was great too. Already booked to stay again next month.

Comfortable room, spacious. Good breakfast. Ideal for travelling for work. Free parking and plenty of spaces.

Spacious, quiet, comfortable, well equipped & maintained rooms & bathrooms (superior room). Same for the general hotel too. Ample parking. Great leisure facilities, including late night opening (handy for parents tag teaming). Convenient location next to main roads, supermarkets, shops & restaurants - but rooms well soundproofed. Ideal for our young family. Really relaxing, comfortable sleep. Would definitely return.

Perfectly fine for a solo traveller visiting or working in the city. Whole place needs a bit of modernisation and decor updating. Some stains on my walls, some screw holes left unfilled in bathroom, and TV cable was so short it could only connect if twisted a certain way. Breakfast is easy but average in quality.

perfect location for Metro centre

Would like to mention 2 receptionists Katy and Kristina - so helpful with us two pensioners in sorting a taxi for us into Newcastle

Bit of an emergency stay here however I used to be a regular several years back. Place looks tired and nearly able to understand receptionist. Not helpful in the least...no direction and check out/ breakfast times facilities opening or closing....very dismissive and poor attitude...which is not ideal as they are your first contact. For 220£/night I expect better.....delta certainly have cheapened the quality of Marriott!!!! I won't return

The room was clean, the staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was good, relaxed and plenty of choice. We didn't use the air conditioning.

Excellent attentive staff in every area of hotel. I stay there regularly when visiting friends and family and my only two beefs are that the elevators seem very slow and the rooms themselves do not have enough lighting. The beds are super comfortable and rooms are very clean. The bathrooms are huge but would be nice to have face cloths again but I am noticing a trend internationally regarding this! Great for parking and public transport is very handy if needed. I will be staying there again.

Excellent hotel . Our room was spacious, clean and had the benefit of air conditioning which was very welcome during this present heat wave. The lobby had an air of luxury and the gym was excellent. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and courteous. All in all we had a lovely 3 night break and will definitely be staying there again. Highly recommended.
