Cannot mark membership as i book with Expedia under my wife name

Good hotel, cleanliness is an issue for sure. Rooms clean is not bad. Pool & changing room, very poor condition of showers, floors, pool etc Breakfast was good on weekend but weekday, low staff & cleanliness etc all dropped again

The room was lovely and clean. Had a fridge, which was really appreciated. Had the two grandchildren with us. Binned room for four, but only left biscuits for two! Lol. Loved the pool. Nice little shallow one for small kids. Didn't eat there, but would recommend it.

Good breakfast selection, service was a bit slow. Bar was okay but didn’t really have any atmosphere. The restaurant seats close to the large windows looking out over the garden were FREEZING and uncomfortable to sit and eat at. Needs heating and better windows with insulation / sealing.

A/c unit not working in the room. Room changed, however the a/c unit is noisy - wakes you up in the night. If you don’t have it on then it’s too cold. Breakfast was ok, wouldn’t recommend the cheese, had been sitting for hours and sweating and looked unappetising. Please be aware you need to pay additional for parking. Also they will charge you for an upgrade, 1st time I’ve had to pay for an upgraded room. Rooms are only cleaned if requested. Looks like they are calling back and made this a mediocre Marriott and want you to spend on extras.

This was an ok hotel and served it’s purpose. Some of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, whilst others just seemed to want to sell you more things. It wasn’t overly clear on booking that you had to pay for parking at £7.50 a night. We had to change rooms midway as the toilet blocked, and neither room had working heating.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was excellent with a good desk and chair and an easy chair i got a lot of work done.

I have stayed here a number of times now. It is always clean, the staff are very friendly and professional, the rooms are comfortable, the leisure facilities good and the food plenty and well priced.

Had a relaxing stay overall. Friendly staff in lobby,spacious clean rooms with good clothes storage and comfortable beds. Nice to find hairdryer,iron and ironing board in the room. Good sized bathroom with lovely toiletries. Cooked breakfast at 9.30am was cold on our first morning and after microwaving our food,the warmers were switched on by a member of staff. Breakfast was on til 11am but the warmers were off. Breakfast was only warmer on our 2nd day as some trays were empty and freshly cooked food had to be waited for. Pastries,breads and cheeses were good as was the coffee. Nowhere in the information i received or on the hotels website was it specified that the pool was not hotel specific. I thought i was booking a hotel with its own pool & spa for residents. It was a leisure centre attached to the hotel which was open to the public. On going for a swim,half the very small pool was cordoned off for swimming lessons. Managed to do a little swimming but couldn't use the only 2 heated loungers as there were children on them who were not staying in the hotel. Kind of disappointed slightly as it wasn't what i thought and would have preferred it to have been exclusive to hotel residents. The spa was very very good though. Massage & reflexology was well worth it. Relaxing atmosphere in the spa and felt chilled out after treatments. Not a bad stay overall. Would consider staying again.

Very nice and very friendly staff

As soon as we walked in and smelt the beautiful scent, the modern lobby and greeted with friendly staff, I knew we wouldn't be disappointed. Great hotel!

Staff helpful and friendly.

Rooms were very clean; staff were friendly and so helpful; full breakfast had many good choices. Travelled with family: grandparents, parents and children (including 1 autistic 5 year old). We were treated with care.
