Nice staff, a little tired with no restaurant or gym access… clean and comfortable though! And good price perhaps to reflect lack of amenities

Breakfast excellent, shame they don;t serve food on a Sunday. Suggest they notify guests beforehand so they can make alternative arrangerments. We could not find anywhere closeby serving food after 7.30pm which was prior to our arrival

Okay breakfast. Gym closed. Rooms very tired and noisy.

Impressive reception area, main stair case and restaurant area. Friendly, welcoming staff. Bedroom fine - clean and comfortable. En-suite bathroom a little tired but functional and perfectly acceptable. Very quiet overnight. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is in lovely grounds which give direct access to the reservoirs and country park beyond, ideal for an early morning stroll. Plenty of car parking space.

Cracks all in the room, no air conditioning and the food wasn’t very nice for breakfast, it had all flakes and seasoning all over it.

Lots of convenient parking. The breakfast was great with freshly cooked food to order and plenty of fruit and pastries. The bedroom was larger than average with two upholstered chairs and bathroom with a real bath.

What a beautiful place to stay so peaceful and serene. I will definitely be back.

The main part of the hotel was stunning. The room I was in & the grounds needs a little TLC and. But overall comfortable night. The lates and resivour was lovely to walk around and spot local wildlife etc.

It’s an amazing looking hotel, lots of period features in the main building and nice views over the gardens. Our room was in the ‘new’ block. It was a good size, bed was comfortable, kettle, iron ironing board hair-drier all there. It did feel a bit tired though, especially the bathroom and it took a couple of attempts to get the shower hot. But it all seemed clean and for the price we paid I was happy enough

Staff very friendly and helpful, wifi signal very weak in my room and had to hotspot from my phone. Bed very comfortable.

Absolutely friendly, dog loving (and accommodating) staff. Hotel was lovey and warm, in room and bar/breakfast areas. Gorgeous setting.

Stayed for work. facilities ok. Information said the gym opened at 5am so I set an alarm for a workout to find out the gym was shut. This should have been explained at check in.

Took a Suite it was good for the price never ate in Hotel apart from breakfast which was poor.

Beautiful stained glass and wood panelling, but décor in rooms tired and mould in the bathroom. Staff helpful and friendly.
