5/5 location and balcony view. 3.5/5 No AC. 3/5 hard/uncomfortable bed. 2/5 tub water takes forever to empty.

No hay aire acondicionado en las habitaciones y el internet no es bueno, falla en algunas areas

Les falta sonreír más. Fuera de eso, todo está espectacular, no se diga la vista de la terraza con vista al zócalo y catedral.

Excelente ubicación y muy bien personal muy atentos, el hotel un poco antiguo, pero el amanecer en ese lugar es maravilloso

I was prepared to come home and write an okay review however upon unpacking at home I discovered that money I hid inside my luggage was stolen. There was no way this was slipped out or lost because it was inside a wallet that was carefully hidden. On Saturday, April 4, 2026, while leaving the hotel that morning the attendant in the elevator told us the area would be extremely busy all day and that he suggested we stay out all day to avoid the congestion of people. He was very persuasive. At the time we found it helpful but now we can’t help but think this was a plot. This is extremely disappointing! I have contacted the hotel but I’m certain nothing will be done to rectify this. TRAVELER BEWARE! They obviously employ thieves at this hotel!

Great location. But hotel run down and old. Better choices in area for comparable rate. Terrace dining is the highlight of the hotel. It overlooks the Zocalo.Food horrible.Avoid the buffet. Wait staff not friendly or attentive. Very, very noisy. Hard to sleep.I wouldn’t stay here again.

The overall rating of three stars is generous. This very very old building was turned into a hotel in the 1930s. Charming? Maybe, but it seemed like many things were not updated since then. I don’t even know where to start. It also varies by room. I know this because we had to switch rooms. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place. The noise from the Zócalo seemed to be never-ending. But if you want a great location in the middle of everything, stay here.
