when you first arrive it seems all sunshine and rainbows, but if you don't have a Spanish speaker present it gets difficult to communicate you issues with hotel staff. having your car in valet is a good idea if you plan to stay around the beach and local eatery, but can get pricy if you plan on staying several days and doing things outside walking distance. More on the hotel, to start they told us they had fridges in the rooms with complimentary water. we thought this was perfect, but our fridge had no waters, we soon find out that the "complimentary water" is a miniature water bottle and its only one per person, completely different from what they first told us. we brush that off to enjoy our night out and had leftovers that we put in our fridge. To our surprise the next morning our foods gone bad (one of the dishes was seafood). it wasnt like we had it out for long as we ate a five minute walk from the hotel, the fridge they had provided us had broken in the middle of the night or possible before that. the beacon hotel seemed to have a theme of having hidden issues though it was meant to look classy. I'm sure there are better places to stay where their equipment works and their quickest way to travel isn't stairs that have staples sticking out the ends.

The pictures of the hotel are EXTREMELY outdated. The bed was hard as a rock, the bathroom is very small (not enough room to move around) and the toilet sat was right next to the tub. ZERO bathroom counter space because the sink was about 14 inches long and don’t get me started on the bathroom door. It was literally a glass shower door. This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Would NOT recommend.

Nice staff

Staff were friendly and accommodating but the property is so old and outdated. We were given room 325 and were locked in from the inside. We had to call for Help. A maintenance man came and claim he fixed it while we went out. We came back to the same issue. They had to find us another room on the 1st floor, right next-door to the gym that they were doing renovations on. It was loud banging as early as 4 AM I would never in my life book this “hotel” again it’s more like a motel.

Being next to a 24/7 cvs is super convenient. Walking distance from a lot of food and night out places

The beacon is convenient when it comes to beach front, food options are all within walking distance, shopping down the strip, but I do recommend the outlet… about 45 minutes out. Love this place!

I paid for a dinner for two. My card was processed after the server informed me that one of the food items was not available on the menu. The server claimed that he cancelled the entire transaction to start a new order. I questioned how quickly he tried to resolve the issue and asked to speak with management, because he was unable to print a receipt, but they were not on the premises. My bank statement reflected the original meal charges which I fully suspected were not cancelled. I also requested additional towels and water bottles but had to leave my room several times to personally retrieve them so I would not be late for my events. I don’t believe the workers had malicious intentions. They were fixated on
