The bathroom lock door is non-existent and broken. There are some stains on the carpet. Quite disappointing that there is no mini fridge in the room.

Clean room and unique environment

Place is ok for what it is but what isn’t ok is the noise, people banging on room doors and running off! Get they do a lot of weddings but that should not be affecting the other guests staying there. Just constant noise, drink people and thud thud thud from music. The spa is inaccessible when a wedding is on due to kids!

Still a great place to stay

Clean, comfortable & quiet room. A fridge,rare nowadays. Good food. Great value.

Stayed over for a wedding at the hotel and received a warm welcome and although we were 2 hours early, our room was ready in 15 minutes and was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff very polite and attentive, food at the wedding was great and the spa was a welcome finish to the weekend. Really good facilities all round. Would stay again

Air conditioning in the room was poor - in this heatwave it wasn’t ideal - had no sleep not only that as no one informed us that loud music would be playing till passed midnight due to a wedding which is okay but would’ve been nice to be made aware. On the other hand staff was polite. Food was very expensive for what you got. Hotel itself was clean.

Food was very good. Air conditioning was very welcome. Beautiful location. Not the cleanest though and the shower was terrible sadly. Staff polite.

Beds rock hard. Not a single USB socket. A free can of Diet Coke though…….in a premium room? Nice enough staff, facilities were poor. Won’t go back.

I have been back to the Norton grange hotel for a fifth time now and still enjoy going there. It never changes , as in it's staff are helpful and friendly the rooms are clean and spacious and comfortable the restaurant is very good with a great menu and tasty food. Lastly the amenities although I didn't get chance to use them are great .....there is a nice big pool a gym and sauna , steam etc they have it all. I will definitely be back again soon. 😊

Fantastic friendly staff, clean rooms and great food

Given the age of the property I’d say it’s fairly clean and tidy. Breakfast choices were okay, could do with more selection. The dining menu was not too bad, though was slightly disappointed with the duck dish I had for dinner service. The spa was nice, again it could do with a freshen up look as most items felt well used. Otherwise it’s been a pleasant stay.

Overall a lovely hotel with both great points and a some not so great. Good - friendly staff, beautiful location, breakfast was fantastic! Nice to have the pool and spa - although this had some not so great rules. Beds were comfortable and the aircon during the heatwave was very much needed. Room for improvement - no safe or fridge in room. Cleaning was great on the surface but we had to move one of the beds to find something and found what looked like vomit underneath. Pool rules for children seemed overly restrictive especially during a heatwave. They could only use the pool between 8 and 10am and 3:30 to 5pm. This was fine for us, but as well as the time restrictions children were only allowed to swim in a single lane even with a nearly empty pool. Also the changing rooms were absolutely freezing!

The staff from the start were all lovely and helpful. I was welcomed very quickly and in a friendly manner. The parking was great and free, which was fantastic, and the hotel gave a feeling of luxury overall. The spa was delightful, and the lady at the entrance of it were very helpful as well. The room was clean, welcoming, and it took a bit of time to figure out the aircon but I got there eventually. The walls didn’t seem very thick, as we heard someone cough in the corridor, but overall we didn’t hear anything from any other guests nor staff. Overall a Very lovely experience, with the very minor detail that the plates during breakfast weren’t always the cleanest.

Great hotel with wonderful staff. Parking and great food

This hotel was the first stop we made when traveling from Canada. Unfortunately we only booked for one night however it was worth it! It was great to Uber from the airport and just spend our first evening in. We checked in, ate dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the hydrotherapy amenities of the hotel. I booked this hotel specifically for the hydrotherapy knowing that after a long day's worth of travel it would be a great way to start our vacation. The only thing was we were not given towels when we went and assumed they were inside the pool area so we did not have a towel to dry off! Fun fact, you get your towel from the attendant at the desk who allows you out back to the change rooms. I went back again in the morning and my locker would not unlock, thankfully someone wearing clothing was able to walk to the desk and get someone to assist. The food at the hotel was good for supper but a little expensive for what we got. The breakfast however was amazing and worth getting up to enjoy! There is also a small Starbucks built into the hotel which means the hotel had good coffee for breakfast! Room and bed were comfortable however the shower was awkward and the floor gets very wet. As my partner was getting out of the shower I had wet feet and stepped on the towel to dry and when he was getting out the towel stuck to my foot and he slid into an awkward position which could be dangerous. Staff are super friendly and I would highly recommend visiting this hotel!
