The hotel is beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and makes for a very relaxed surrounding. The staff were attentive, pleasant and professional and the food was excellent.

This was a beautiful property! Very elegant, clean, beautiful property. Each room was spacious and comfortable with a fantastic view. The grounds were beautiful and well kept with a walled garden, pitch and putt golf area, lawn bowling area, and walking trail. The service was attentive and very professional. It was peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating. The 5 course dinner was amazing! Strongly recommend this place!

We had a lovely time. From the moment we were greeted at reception on the first day till the day we left. Everyone was so nice and couldn’t have done enough for us. Our 2 dogs were made so welcome and our dining experience wasn’t reduced in any way because of them. Harriet should get a mention as nothing was too much trouble for her. It was also lovely to meet the owner Bill who made sure everything was running smoothly. We cannot empathise how fabulous the food was. Simply amazing. An excellent 2 days break.

Absolutely perfect!! I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The staff are amazing- from check in to check out and everything in between. Harriet, Crystal, Johnathan, Liam were fantastic. Stayed here for only 1 night and was super last minute, so didn’t get to enjoy everything. By far the most beautiful places to stay in Scotland, an absolute hidden gem. The attention to detail in making your stay perfect is nothing you will experience anywhere else. We will be back next year😁

Superb check in welcome from Hubert and highly recommended 7 course taster dinner. Offered innovative vegan options. Server Angus and stories from Hubert were lovely. Very relaxing overnight stay with a stroll round the grounds.

It was our Ruby Wedding Anniversary on our wedding day we spent our first night as a married couple in the Cringletie Hotel and we were upgraded to a fabulous suite it was amazing with a wonderful jacuzzi bath. Will definitely return again

My stay was a fairy-tale moment. Our rooms were at the very top of this castle BnB. Beautiful building lovely grounds with a garden and walking trail. Clean ,comfortable and inviting. The manager showed us around upon arrival. Breakfast was great and the breakfast room was beautiful. Loved our too short stay.

Love this hotel, amazing rooms, nice location just outside of Peebles. The staff are amazing with high levels of customer service. The Sunday lunch is exceptional.

The house and its location are lovely; the staff welcoming and thoughtful. We could not have imagined a better place to celebrate our forty years together. Our elderly dog was given as warm a welcome and standard of care as were we. The cuisine is top notch - compliments to the chef - and the serving staff’s level of attentiveness well-judged. Small, unexpected extras were much appreciated.
