Excellent location on a quiet street close to the city centre. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, and our room was spacious and comfortable.

The best thing about this Hotel was the stuff. The guy on front desk and the girl in the bar were lovely. But the Hotel itself feels really tired, is dark and really needs painting and new carpets to say the least. The Hotel smiled quite nice on entry, but my room, number 15, was through a fire door beyond which everything smiled quite badly like toilet. The paintwork and cushions in the room were stained and dirty. The bed was really uncomfortable, really soft and the springs were uncomfortable.

The stay was great but I had to wait outside for a bit because the poor guy on reception was on his own on Christmas Day and was in the bar getting breakfast prepped and took a while to get to reception. He was great , friendly, but really you should have two people on so the phone or door can be answered. Also

Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was a good size, clean with an extremely comfortable bed! Breakfast was good value and tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

Lady on reception was lovely and the room presentation/decor very nice. However sadly the bed needed to be made again as it was full of what looked like dog hairs. It appeared the bedding all was used/dirty

Very good breakfast. Bathroom had loose tiles and towels smelled moldy and moist.
