The bellman was awesome, but the hotel needs some major help. Our bathroom showed cracks everywhere, sink was blocked, and the shower SCREAMED for the first five minutes every time. The wallpaper is peeling, and ripped in some places, and the HVAC was completely inadequate. Our mini-fridge still has the spacers for the old style with over-priced snacks, so you have to get creative with putting anything it. The TV is really old, and you cannot link or cast to it. Wifi is slow and not dependable (unless you want to pay a daily fee for an upgrade). The hotel is one of the most expensive ones in the city, it would be great if the actual hotel reflected that.
We mentioned some of this on check out, but no one seemed very concerned.
Again - bellman was terrific!
Just for comparison, I stayed at the Holiday Inn on Portage and it was night and day so much better.
