Very dated & could do with being knocked down, more of a motel than a hotel. Room very clean just old fashioned, reception staff all friendly. Room noisy due to being just above the main extraction system for I suspect the kitchens.

The room was clean and comfortable . The hotel needs a make over. It's need modernising and a refurb. The breakfast staff lovely as they are are over whelmed who large parties are in . You need more staff . We had dinne run the restaurant one night. Service and food were very nice and good value for money.

Enjoyed most of it. Large room, great view. Pool was a little crowded , sauna was fabulous thanks. Downside? Door card failed 3days in 4. Couldn’t have been located further from reception, so had to return to get it reprogrammed. Told the hotel is getting quotes for replacement cards. Get it done please. Shower curtain. Bit 80’s still having a shower curtain and when you install the rail over the bath so that the curtain sticks to you, incredibly annoying. Get the rail installed further away and have a longer curtain for Pete’s sake. And- Why don’t British hotels have fridges in the room? Incredibly cheap to omit them. Nice to have biscuits & water in the room thanks. Reception need to up their happy, smiling & customer focussed attitudes. One was good, one was passable & other stony faced. You’ll work it out. Breakfast staff good, kept it ticking over despite a crowd.

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting family at the end of August. Check-in was efficient and the staff we met were pleasant and helpful. On arrival the room was clean although as others have commented, the carpets, furniture and fittings appear tired, dated and in need of a refresh. The cleaning policy is to change towels and clean rooms after 3 days. As we were booked for 4 nights it would have been better to have refreshed the room halfway. Breakfast is a buffet which we ate once. There was a range of fruit juices but they ran out of water. I liked that there was fresh fruit and the croissants were fresh and flaky. The cereal selection was limited to individual packets. For cold options there was sliced cheese but no cold meats or fish. The hot options were bog standard bacon, sausage, eggs etc. I was disappointed that Manx kippers, a local delicacy weren't available but perhaps there is no demand for them. I liked that there are vending machines so that you can buy water when you want The hotel's spa is its crowning glory. The pool is a decent size for casual swimmers, the jacuzzi, steamroom and women's sauna worked well and the showers and changing room were clean.

We thought it was a very enjoyable stay, shame it's getting a bit scuffed up now (through use though), however the staff were superb, swimming pool was good, changing area being worked on. No problem, other spa facilities are good. Food was very nice and restaurant was very good. The only other thing I would say is the air-conditioning was a bit too cold, but it worked very well!

The location and view were great! Housekeeping wasn't that great and the front desk person was not that friendly (compared to the locals of the island) - we brought our 6 year old grandson to the pool and on the 3rd time they told us that he wasn't allowed, only the 2 registered guests are allowed - so that was kind of upsetting since we didn't see any literature saying that. There is no air in the room unless you open the slider, but kind of stuffy at night when we lock them.

We liked the room but we would have liked it more if it had been at the front for our fiftieth, we know you are doing the place up and yes the carpets do need changed overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Positives: Room Comfortable. Restaurant good and plentiful with helpful asian staff. Super location with bus stop outside the door. Lift to help accessibility. Reasonably good value for money. Negatives: Reception inpolitie. Severe lack of middle management. Fire Alarm was activated during the night. No proper evacuation procedure. Obvious lack of fire training for staff. No one able to reset the technic and all elderly and special needs guests had to walk many flights of stairs. No roll call or guest checklist. I would still come again and would only cautiously recommend this hotel.

Rooms are comfy and clean, we’ve been coming here for around 30 years and the communal areas are in a terrible unclean state and smell, new carpets and a lick of paint wouldn’t go a miss. Travel lodge will take over in 2027 if they don’t address it.

This hotel is amazing. Have stayed here approximately 10 times absolutely amazing friendly and helpful staff. Food id nice breakfast all you can eat. Rooms clean and tidy cant fault them. Will be back soon 😊

Staff didn’t seem to be informed about food options. Mainly about room service for good. We were told different info from different staff at front desk.

The rooms were very much in need of a make over but thd staff are lovely and its faciilties and restaurant were fantastic. There is a lovely pool and good gym. The view from the rooms are amazing and in a great loction all round

Great hotel but not cleaning the rooms for 3 days is disgusting

The outside of the building and reception are a bit dated, but the the bedrooms and sea views are amazing, the dining rooms are so very modern and the food was amazing, also the Chinese restaurant again with seaviwes, I loved the swimming pool, so slick. We used the casino, bingo and the slots, everything you need in one building defo booking again
