I think you need to have a very specific reason for staying at this property. Unfortunately, our stay was very short and we did not get to enjoy what perhaps was on tap. However the experience we did have was not awesome. There was a school graduation, taking up the meeting space and apparently the banquet and serving staff were

Staff was very nice, hotel was in immaculate condition and the rooms where beautifully decorated and came with a comfortable 4 post bed. We had dinner at the restaurant within the hotel and the food was ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR.

This is truly a unique, stunning property! You do feel like you are in a castle and the atrium is a gorgeous place to sit and relax. Both the restaurant and the Knights Bar had good food, reasonable prices, and a nice ambiance. The only small issue was that it is a far distance from the center of town. We used Dart and the local bus, but that does mean a lot of walking. However, we are very happy we chose this hotel.

Nice, clean and quiet room. If you want to stay in a real castle, this is it. The rooms, however, are updated but the ambience is great. The restaurant is an added bonus as it is a bit far from the city centre and there are not too many eating places nearby.

Had a great stay at Clondarf Castle! Stayed the night to celebrate our engagement, and got upgraded to a junior suite! All the staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was terrific! Would 100% come back in the future.

Our second stay at this hotel. Always clean, always comfortable. AC works and windows open. Very cool decor - lots of art everywhere. Colorful. Close to airport. My only suggestion is for softer pillows, which they might have available but it was only one night so we didn’t ask.

Staying at the Clontarf Castle was gorgeous! So much history attached to this 11th century castle. There is a wonderful cemetery that belongs to the castle and worth visiting Would easily go back again

Excellent and friendly front desk staff. Walked to breakfast in a very cute seaside area nearby. Convenient to grab a cab to the city Centre.

The hotel has a really playful and evocative decor, with lots of different rooms to explore. The two dinners we had were also really good! Loved the free and easy parking and easy access to Dublin, New Grainge, and the airport.

Amazing castle hotel experience, in simple terms. Impeccably maintained castle with very helpful staff (Amir at check in was especially helpful as we got there around 0900, way ahead of checkin time). The rooms were nice for a hotel of this kind nothing outstanding. The breakfast for €15 per person was sumptuous and well laid out. The on premise restaurant is also very good. An amazing 1 night stay for.my wife n I, that we enjoyed greatly.
