Absolutely stunning! We were in Awe just driving up to the hotel. Very clean with cozy beds. Wish we would have have time to stay and walk the grounds.

Everything was wonderful - offering so much more than a 4* hotel! Stayed at Matfen Hall (5*) a few days earlier and this stay was so much better in every way - food, room size, decor, staff, comfort, value for money and attention to detail - well impressed! It was an added bonus to be able to enjoy the farmers’ market in the beautiful grounds!

A lovely stay in a beautiful building. The service was excellent, and the room was very comfortable. One or two issues arose with the quality of the food (specifically temperature at both dinner and breakfast), but I would happily return for another stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked the hotel’s old character and nice views over the gardens and countryside. 10 out of 10.

Everything was perfect with our stay, the staff are amazing. We received a lovely little gift of chocolates for our anniversary celebration and a card. Ate in the bar and the quality of the food was outstanding. Will definitely be returning

Excellent hotel in a beautiful setting. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was huge, immaculately clean and well furnished. Bar meal was excellent (as was the manager on duty) and breakfast was all freshly cooked. All round great value.

Fabulous hotel.

The grounds and the hotel were excellent and contributed to our feeling of being relaxed at home. All the staff we encountered were without exception knowlegeable and helpful.

Excellent stay! I took my partner for our engagement and it was so special. The staff were so important in ensuring our night was completely perfect. They upgraded our room with one with a balcony! Whilst going out of there way to decorate our room with complimentary champagne and chocolate treats, for our return back to the room after our evening meal in the fabulous leven restaurant! I’d like to thank everyone involved in making this stay a memory that will be with us forever. 5* Andrew

Amazing hotel, scenery, staff and the food was out of this world

Very much a Ghosts of Motley Hall hotel. I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to my room yet the hotel seemed to have very few guests - not sure what that was all about. The staff do try their best but the place seems to be run by management from an Agatha Christie novel. My room had such a tiny bathroom too.

Simply an excellent place to spend great and royal vivencies in a King service!!!

The staff were fantastic. We'd invited family, elderly & young, to join us for a couple of the evenings and the team there couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Many thanks Crathorne Hall!!
