Our stay at Inverlochy Castle was the highlight of our two week London/Scotland trip! The grounds were beautiful, so definitely walk all the paths! The castle had a lovely sitting room for after dinner drinks. The pub down the road was the best meal I had in the two weeks- very fresh vegetables and salad. The salad dressing was delicious! All of the staff was exceptional and really made my daughter feel special during our stay as she was the youngest guest during our stay. I would definitely stay again! We miss it already!

Wonderful and make sure you eat at the Castle

It’s a beautiful place to stay. Since you’re outside the main building, you feel a bit removed from the atmosphere of the house, but overall it was very nice. We noticed that the staff was very structured — friendly, but stressed, and very much focused on “following the rules.” In our opinion, this should be a place to truly relax… and we didn’t really feel that. We also didn’t like that after 11 p.m. there is no one left in the main house. If you’re having a drink, the staff disappears and you’re completely alone, which gives a sense of insecurity. The breakfast is very good, and you can easily skip the tasting dinner in the main dining room because the à la carte menu is very varied, complete, and delicious.

The rooms were amazing the staff was a little stuffy dining options were okay five course meal that you had to be dressed in a jacket and Pub off site that did not serve pub food the grounds were amazing Castle beautiful but I don't think this is for everyone

It is an amazing place - beautiful - our suite (queen’s suite) was incredible. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect. The food is incredible- highly recommend their amazing dinner service. This our second time staying there and we will come back next year.

Totally authentic old-world ambience, incredible natural scenery at the foot of Ben Nevis and high-quality kitchen. Recommended!

The room was spotless, the bathroom Was immaculate.

Wonderful experience during our three day stay. Staff was extremely personable and helpful. We loved our room. There were some cobwebs in our windows but overall very clean and well maintained. My only suggestions are that they lower the temperature in the dining room (especially if you're working through a five course menu and a bottle of wine in a suit jacket); revamp the reception area (looks a tad bit like a gift shop and not the entrance to a grand house); and have (suitable)background music in the lounge areas/ dining room when pianist isn't present. (Everyone seemed to be talking in self-conscious whispers at breakfast and while sitting in common areas because it was so quiet.)

A little run down, dinner was overpriced and not great for what they promoted.

I was disappointed with the overall stay here. The atmosphere with stuffy and pretentious, and at times, we felt unwelcome and as though we didn't fit in. There was a particular staff member (I won't name him) that basically scolded me for a discrepancy on a taxi request. The facility itself was phenomenal. The food overpriced, and not worth it (45 pounds per person at Factors Inn for what was basically a few bits of salmon). The breakfast (included), great–no complaints there. The room we had, which was nearly $900 a night, had a fly problem that stemmed from within the room (not midges, which are well known there–these were house flies). We were dismissed when bringing this to their attention, and told that it was because the doors were left open (they weren't). The issue was never resolved. The towels seemed like they were not changed daily, though I won't get into detail on how we discovered this. We will not stay here again because of the pretentious and unwelcoming environment buy some (not all) staff members, but the facility itself was beautiful.

Very nice rooms and service was phenominal. It was warm westher wise and the heat was in in the comnon rooms and hallways. So it was very warm inside the castle and in our rooms, that was really my biggest complaint.

High tea was disappointing. Food was not wonderful We asked for water never got it. It was a good stay but for the money I expected superior everything and that didn’t happen. Too much hype for a good not great return.

Beautiful property. Staff was excellent. Views were outstanding. The dinner was quality. The entire experience was five-star. Highly recommend.
