Charming hotels! Lovely staff. Food was delicious. I did forget to check if they had an elevator for my elderly mother. Alas, they didn’t. We did have to put her on the second floor and she could manage the 6-7 steps. Sooo fyi.

Room was quite dusty and smelled rancid. In need of some new beddings and air fresheners. Restaurant was closed. Easy access off the highway.

Old and run down

This place was a little rustic. Beautiful location on the lake. The home smelled musty. I could not make friends with coffee maker. When it was cool it was very comfortable. When it was warm- upstairs didnt cool much. Queen bed upstairs was very hard. Host was helpful.

Loved being on the ground floor, but was a little perturbed to be woken up at 7 in the morning with the outdoor music. Lynn at the front desk is absolutely wonderful, always so sweet and helpful. Older gentleman with glasses not so nice. But all in all we are there alot and its usually a wonderful time.

We arrived by plane - did not have a vehicle and there were no options for food. Restaurant and bar were closed 2 days a week. Had to walk along the highway to access food. Property is poorly maintained

Decent hotel but getting a bit worn looking. Clean and comfortable.

The hotel is old, no hot water for shower one morning. The pub is not open Monday and Tuesday.

Staff member at the reception not cooperative. Nice and quiet. Could be very nice with a bit of love. No daily room service and expensive breakfast not included in the relatively high room rate.

Good view side of the lake. There is no breakfast provided at the hotel. Also, there is no lift. Very clean.

Cute place. Conveniently located just off the highway and is 11 min from the airport. Ideal for business trips.

The room we stayed in was large and accommodated us well. We didn’t use any amenities but they did have a restaurant there. The staff there were nice and got me some decaf coffee from the restaurant. It was a special request. The property was convenient from the highway. The parking lot had only one way in, which was the same way out. A little hard to maneuver sometimes. Overall nice place.

Hotel needs a major renovation, not a good smell when you walk in. Nice location but someone should invest in the property and get it up to standard.

Staying at Inn on the Lake at least once per visit has fast become a tradition when travelling to Nova Scotia to see family. I will continue to come back year after year.

Great stay for 2 nights

We chose this hotel based on reviews and location to the Halifax airport. The room was large and clean but very outdated. Unfortunately the restaurant and pub are not open on Mondays or Tuesdays. “Breakfast” consisted of a mini fridge on the main floor with yogurt cups and muffins. Be aware that there is no elevator. Our room was on the 3rd floor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not likely to stay there again.

Nice small resort-like inn 11 km from airport and near Dartmouth/Halifax. Room are more rustic looking, but decent quality. Many rooms with a balcony. Hotel is situated on a lake, including small beach and a pool. Good restaurant on site. Also grocery store, gas, fast food 5 minute drive. Only disappointment is the room has a small fridge, but does not work. Fre parking on site.
