Staff were efficient from moment we arrived - room was clean and ready- large car park - no EV Charging station

Cleanliness room was spotless apart from a few stains on the carpet Staff were very attentive Excellent customer service

The hotel has been tastfully refurbished but we did not feel valued as guests. First there was the email after booking. Most hotels use this to welcome you and tell you about some of the nice things to look forward to. This hotel just used it to tell me how wrong it woul, having paid in full upfront ,there was the demand for a £50 deposit on arrival. I was told it was to cover damages and was necessary "because the hotel was independent and couldn't afford to cover the losses". How sad! Hotel, please note: Not everyone is a thief or vandal - and you know where I live anyway!! No-one checked the room at checkout yet they refunded to deposit. What's the point???

Great room, was large with comfortable bed, quiet and with lovely views. Room also had real coffee, a fridge and AC. The only disappointment that I found strange was that the hotel bar and restaurant didn’t overlook the sea. To have a hotel turn its back on its main asset (the beachside location) was annoying. Surely would benefit from turning the ballroom into a bar or restaurant!! Staff all pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fine, good value but nothing special

Have stayed here many times and it’s always very good. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Had an issue with my room this time, reported to staff who were quick to rectify. This hotel is directly opposite the beach and has plenty of parking. Great facilities, worth noting that the pool is used by public too so may be busy at times.

Staff were very welcoming and very polite. Our room was very good and very clean. Only complaint was with the air conditioning which we did not have on, but it still made a noise in the early hours which woke me up. Only other minor issue was the inability on Thursday evening to get a meal in the Martello Bar which was crowded with men attending a function.

A nice stay

The hotel is very tired, the entrance hall is very dark. The corridors were dimly lit and needing a refurbished. The restaurant has no windows. There is only one passenger lift which is the size of a phone box. There was a lack of plants or aesthetic touches to brighten the function rooms.

Comfortable room with plenty of space. Good selection from the breakfast buffet. Nice location opposite the beach and within walking distance of town.

Lovely hotel near beach but air con was not switched on when arriving on very hot day, so room was very hot and took a while to cool it down, also air conditioning was too cold in living room but not cold enough in bedroom. Breakfast was good with just a little extra charge for Eggs Royale which was fine. Lovely views from room of beachfront

Hotel was very clean,staff very helpful. Breakfast was ok but the quality of cooked food could have been better. We went for a wedding which was lovely. We didn't use the spa or pool as only there for one night. It was the hottest day of the year and in the parts that were air conditioned it was ok but the actual wedding was outside in the garden and there was no shade for the quests we were all melting and got sun burnt so would advise if its the reason for your visit take hats or umbrella. I would have thought as a main wedding venue that this should have been a priority under the circumstances. The plus side is if you love the beach it is just across the road.
