Beautiful location, beautiful beach. Wonderful food. Staff was so helpful.

Our stay was great!! 5 days, we enjoyed the food, the beach, the lounge chairs, the snack bar, the pool bar, the music, the à la carte menus, the drinks, the staff were friendly and helpful right from the start. Overall a great resort for what you’re paying

The staff were generally friendly, but there weren’t enough of them. Many times, stations were understaffed or not staffed at all. The pools were not very clean and were too warm for my taste, although my son didn’t mind. The beach is beautiful and spacious. We visited during seaweed season, which was disappointing. They do try to clean it, but it’s a Sisyphean task—it’s very hard to keep up. The food was very mediocre, including at the Italian restaurant. The Mexican restaurant was better, but unfortunately two of us ate something there that caused severe food poisoning and cost us an entire day of our vacation to recover. We reported it, but the response felt like a dismissal of responsibility. Overall, you get reasonable value for the price. We did appreciate that it’s a smaller resort rather than one of the huge complexes, and it was nice that it’s built within a jungle setting rather than as one large building.

Beautiful resort very different. The resort was charming and it felt like we were staying in a park - small resort but that’s what made it special Beach area was small but beautiful. Would recommend if you want something different.

The resort is so well kept & clean, the food is good with tons of variety, and filtered water stations throughout the resort that we drank from the entire time with no issues! The staff at the reef are incredibly kind and the entertainment staff were the best! 10/10

The main issue was with the room itself. There was a connecting door to the neighboring room, and because of that we could clearly hear our neighbors talking, which made it feel uncomfortable and not very private. Also, the bed and pillows were quite hard, which affected the overall comfort. Other than that, everything else was fine.

O lugar é muito bom, praia muito linda, apesar de ter sargaços, o hotel estava limpando a frente da praia. All inclusive vale muito a pena. Pontos relevantes do quarto que fiquei, a água do chuveiro estava entrando para o quarto, e não era pouco, o ar condicionado estava pingando também, outra coisa que me deixou um pouco decepcionado foi pelo fato da sacada do meu quarto estar virado para rua, sendo que tinha muitos quartos para o lado de dentro, que é um jardim muito lindo. Outra coisa chata que acontece lá é nas questão das cadeiras, o pessoal pega a toalha cedo e deixa as cadeiras marcadas, se chegar tarde fica sem cadeiras com cobertura. Detalhe, peguei o melhor pacote e acho que nisso não compensou, pois isso é bom para quem quer beber as bebidas mais caras mesmo.

Personal Grosero, siendo un hotel internacional y destino como tal me dijeron que no había personal que hablara ingles en reservaciones me tuvieron esperando mas de 3 horas y no me dieron una solución, desagradable el personal...

The location, activities, and property itself was wonderful. I really enjoyed doing yoga and aqua aerobics everyday. I wish the gym was bigger. It had decent equipment, but there was barely any room to move. Luckily I was in there by myself each day.

We love staying at the reef! It is a small resort with everything you could ever need. The food is good and the staff are kind!

Excellent staff; tidy rooms; great food

Room was nice, however it was next to the theater so it was loud at night. Food was limited and mediocre at the buffet. No poolside service. Seemed like they were short staffed everywhere. The snack bar food was awful and it took about 40 minutes to get a pulled pork supposedly ( the meat was cut into chunks) and cold French fries.

El hotel tiene una ubicación buena si quieres ir a los parques de Xcaret y está cerca de la quinta. Pero la atención a los clientes fue descortés, desde la recepción incluyendo al concierge. Lo peor fue la atención en el club de playa, totalmente desorganizados, y muy poca empatía con los huéspedes. La comida es aceptable. Pero la atención de los meseros en la zona de snacks y restaurantes de reservación, fue pésima. La playa está bonita. No recomiendo este hotel.
