很古典的酒店，可是房間wifi要付費，但酒店大堂有免費wifi。有升降機但房間可能再另一橦，因為要行半層樓梯。停車場收費5鎊。職員友善。

Warm welcome and checking in, excellent evening meal and breakfast. Staff were wonderful. To rate at excellent we would if the bed was better, a poor quality matress topper, hard pillows and we could feel the hard mattress. The room was a hard climb into the eaves. Will book a room on the main floor for next stay there. Buxton is a beatiful place and we only stayed for one night on this occasion.

Small but comfortable and clean room. As it is historic and old building atmoaphere was incredible, but it wont have the new big windows in the room etc. But beautiful, comfortable stay

Room was very clean, however one of our towels was dirty but staff replaced this immediately. Our room didn’t have a window which was unexpected as nowhere when booking did it say this might be the case, felt quite claustrophobic. Excellent location and lovely hotel overall.

Breakfast 15 quid didnt have it. Apparently extra charge for pool didnt use it. Bar and reception area, nice. 5 quid for parking!

I found my stay very enjoyable and the location of this hotel is really good

Ideal location for Buxton town centre and walks. Dog friendly and helpful staff.

Paid for a standard double room but got a compact room. Window wouldn’t open so room was too warm. Paid for late checkout however this was not acknowledged so we were locked out of room.

Lovely breakfast comfortable bed but room easily gets hot when the sun shines in .Needs air con in all rooms .We stayed in the past & it was hot then

Absolutely brilliant place to stay! Staff fabulous and friendly. Room amazing! Will definitely stay here again.

Väldigt fint hotell.

The staff were attentive and helpful. The restaurant manager was particularly engaging and was largely on her own on Sunday night but managed the restaurant with aplomb. The housekeeping staff were careful to report back quickly that I hadn’t left rings in the bedroom as suspected. I have since found them in the glove compartment of the car.

The cooked breakfast was nice. Staff absolutely lovely except from one person in the main reception who booked us in (looked and sounded like they did not want to be there - could have been having a bad day). Clean, tidy rooms. Showers worked well.

Be aware that there is clearly a big renovation project taking place. Our room had clearly had the room done but the bathroom, although spotless, was old. Our children’s room was the opposite. The two rooms although sold at the same price were entirely different sizes and one of the rooms had obviously been split from its neighbour with a bit of cardboard the soundproofing was so poor. It’s a beautiful old building so we know it won’t be perfect. It has loads of personality, is in a fab location, is spotless throughout and the breakfast was great. It’s perfect for a night but just not convinced it is 4*.

We stayed for three nights. There was absolutely no service, no cleaning at all, and remnants of the previous guest’s trash were still in the room. My body broke out in severe hives from the very first night, which gradually worsened. Considering the price we paid, the service was extremely poor.

Over all pleasant stay staff very helpful and friendly hotel was nice the publicity areas bar reception etc clean in good condition bedrooms ok warm and clean only downside shower was to small for me personally and although a huge carpark i went out on Sunday when I returned no park spaces at all not sure if was being used by none residents if so maybe the hotel need to reserve some

Can’t fault my stay at all, room was much bigger than I thought. Clean and tidy.
