cancel my booking without notice checkin at 12p and asked me to come after4pm arrived at 4p and told me the booking has been cancelled bad experience

The room itself was quite nice but the bathroom was very dated, very poor water pressure and inconsistent hot water. There is no coffee shop onsite and when I ordered a pint of coke it was filled with ice then 3/4 full of actual drink, the food wasn't great with the chicken tenders being exceptionally dry. The gym was awful, not very well equipped and filthy, I watched multiple people leaving equipment lying around and sweat all over the machines and floors with not a staff member in sight the entire 2 hours I was there. I stay at Village Hotels monthly and this was my first and only stay at the Liverpool branch, never again. The only saving grace was the very friendly staff member on reception when I arrived.

The hotel staff and amenities were great, as was the room. The carpets in our room were stained but they were very clean, as was the rest of the very spacious family room and bathroom. The gym has a lot of equipment, and our daughter loved the large swimming pool. Whilst the parking that I was told would be free over the weekend actually had a small charge (£5), that leisure centre that I was told carried a fee (£5) was actually included in our room rate. So everything balanced out. Overall a lovely hotel within reach of anywhere you’d want to go. Highly recommend.

No hot water in shower had to get moved rooms

Arrived at 2pm but told check in wasn't till 3pm. By 5pm we was still waiting to check into our room. We had to keep chasing up our room to be told it wasn't ready as it hadn't been cleaned yet. Shower in the room wasn't the most powerful. It was one of those where you had to do a jog to get wet. The room was clean and bed comfy.

Veel parkeerplaatsen. Heerlijk zwembad met steam room en sauna. En goede sportfaciliteiten. Jammer dat het in het weekend vroeg (19.30 uur) sluit. Ruime hotelkamer, heerlijk ruim bed. Veel tv zenders. Weinig lekkere zitplek op de kamer, buiten en in de lobby. Buiten staan wel picknick tafels, prima voor een borrel, maar niet voor een goed boek. Ondanks de aanwezigheid van een ventilator, was geen airco op de kamer vervelend. Veel achtergrond geluid van de snelweg naast het parkeerterrein. Treinstation op 5 minuten autorijden van hotel. Centrum van Liverpool was daarmee goed bereikbaar. Geen andere restaurants in de omgeving.

Room was clean... Bed lovely clean and very comfortable..... swimming pool was very nice.... Breakfast was good

Clean Bedroom good staff and great pool area sauna steam room large pool and hot tub.

During stay had to request that room/bathroom bins were emptied and this was reluctantly partially carried out.

Bed was just so comfortable, staff very fresh, lots of parking spaces.

Breakfast was disappointing as they had ran out of everything. But other than that a beautiful quirky hotel

A lovely building from the outside but disappointing inside. Check-in was self check-in done on tablets and no staff were present. The rooms are a decent size however they are dated, only have blinds and not curtains, they’re not very soundproof and the shower didn’t have much pressure. Breakfast selection was okay however I had to wait 20 mins for 3 fried eggs, despite it not being busy.

I paid for a family room as it was my wife and my son travelling for a football tournament. I paid around about £192 for the room for one evening. When we got into the room, there were no lamps or bedside table lamps. I asked at reception if we could get a lamp, as I like to read at night before I go to bed, and was told the only light available was the ceiling lights. They did not have any spare. I can't believe a hotel does not have table lamps or bed lamps, or that they could not accommodate me. I had to go and buy one from Tesco for the night, which was very disappointing. I have never in all my years been to a hotel where they do not have table or reading lights, and we have to rely upon using the large light in the ceiling.

Really nice hotel – I stayed for one night as a work base and it did the job well. Great location just off the motorway (M62), though as expected it can be a bit noisy in the rooms. Not much you can do about that given the proximity. Good facilities including a pool, gym, sauna and steam room, and the breakfast had a great variety - all fresh and hot. Special mention to Mason on the night reception. I had a bit of a late-night disaster after forgetting my charger, and he went out of his way to find one for me, as well as bringing teas and coffees to my room. After a long and stressful day, it was genuinely appreciated. He was kind, friendly, and a real credit to the hotel. All the team at Village Hotels are always welcoming and helpful - thank you!

Stayed one night, wish it had been more! A lovely hotel, fantastic facilities and so much choice for breakfast . Highly recommended.

The rooms were a bit mixed up on arrival. We had booked a club room and was given a normal double, although to be fair we had asked to be on lower floor but we were also advised that there was no club room on ground floor. On arrival we just accepted the double room as we had travelled down from Scotland and were tired. We also paid for early check in not realising that when booking a club room early check in is included but payment was still taken. There were children running up and down the corridor at night playing and making a noise however the hotel cannot be blame for that.. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would stay there again if we came back to Liverpool

Check-in é Check-out muito rápido e prático , equipe atenciosa e profissional, local limpo e aconchegante, se precisar de uma toalha extra é só solicitar, atendeu todas as minhas expectativas, tem um Pub muito bom adorei os lanches e bebidas, como não tem muito comércio perto é bom avaliar incluir o café da manhã e recomendo alugar um carro para poder fazer e conhecer tudo que precisa.
