Great hotel with friendly reception. Very pleased with cleanliness and service. Would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed my 2-night stay here. Staff was very friendly, check-in was smooth and room was nice and clean. The building itself looks like it could be in need of an upgrade soon, but that did not take away from it feeling clean and safe. Within walking distance (10 minutes) from nearly all the areas in Lille, including the train station. Would definitely stay again!

Convenient, about 16 min walk from Lille Europe station and 10 min walk from Lille Flandres, and 15 min from Lille Grand Palais. Breakfast has a good variety of food, including cheese, brrad, pastry, yoghurt, etc. Staff are helpful and polite. However, the room lacks basic amenities like hot water flask, slippers, toiletries, cups, etc, though they are available at the hotel lobby. Some corners of the room have mould and were musty. The air conditioner was not cold enough (but this is understandable as it was about 25 to 28 deg C in the afternoon).

Comfortable basic room good shower and comfortable bed. Budget hotel in the middle of town. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Very good buffet breakfast.

Felt welcome on arrival, friendly and helpful staff gave advice on where to eat, etc. Grateful to be able to access room early. Clean room with excellent shower. Excellent choice of food at breakfast. Very convenient location for town centre and stations.

This is an amazing hotel. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, friendly staff and a good breakfast. Great location, close to everything. All in all, outstanding value for money.

It was very hard getting a good night's rest due to the very poor sound insulation. We could hear doors closing (never mind slamming) not only on our floor, but the floors above and below as well. This was true of the main room door, but also internal doors, such as the toilet. Slamming doors added vibrations you could feel while in bed. Earplugs did not help. On the plus side, the breakfast is rather lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a real shame the infrastructure is so poor, as the location is also great.

Very well located, comfortable bed and good breakfast (we were not told where or what time the breakfast was). The bedroom was incredibly small and the bathroom was so small - unnecessarily small -that one couldn't dry yourself in the bathroom.

Positives: Great price, amazing value for money. Breakfast included - very good breakfast and nice quality food. Decent hotel decor, and location very close to main town. Negatives: A/C in the room didn’t work and window wouldn’t open so it was a bit stuffy. Reception staff was a bit odd - I was standing in queue but called the person behind me before me for some reason, maybe since the person looked local - so that was a bit odd and left me feeling quite dissatisfied. Ibis parking was full, overnight street parking is free, but through the day it’s not always possible to find spots. I parked in ‘Parking Republique’ next to the Bureau of Arts - which was convenient.

Overall a pleasant enough stay. Some minor issues in the room (window didn't close properly), and with the meeting room (AC didn't work and the cable we were provided was broken).

Foyer Bar and Breakfast area excellent. Good ambience Reception welcoming helpful Booked soy milk for breakfast but wasn’t there. Breakfast staff went out and bought some for me. Very friendly. Negatives Rooms tried to be quirky but poor design Main issue was pervasive mould smell in bathroom from shower area.
