Perfect stay

The Delta was a lovely hotel - it was the same quality you’d expect from a Marriott hotel!

The hotel is badly in need of a makeover, air conditioning poor except in the front of house areas.

all good - upgrade notification was very poor - I received this after I had checked in

Lovely place

Great breakfast buffet, good pool for families. Family rooms are bigger than expected, clean and cleaning service was appreciated.

Good hotel if you're visiting the races and need somewhere to stay, although overpriced in my opinion.

Room was perfectly big for the 3 of us. Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working in the room and it was extremely hot! Food was great and the pool was lovely and very clean. I do think its a bit cheeky to ask for payment for parking in the hotel but overall great stay

Decent sized room (stayed in deluxe double) for 2 nights. Admittedly didn’t feel particularly deluxe as the furniture was old and it felt a little tired. Clean enough but could do with a refurb. Car charging onsite was handy and good location without being stuck in city centre.

Wonderful staff both on reception, the gym and at breakfast, couldn’t ask for more.

Hotel is clean but quite tired in places. Our room was quite worn (carpets, paint etc) plus with no air conditioning having the windows open meant a lot of noise from the extractor fans from the kitchen. This started quite early in the morning and until after we have gone to bed. For the offer price room and facilities were fine, using the pool and sauna a nice bonus but again a little tired looking. Food prices whist normally high in a hotel restaurant seemed stupidly costly for the offer available. We ended up eating elsewhere as there was football on which took over the whole bar area.

Don't except a room on the 3rd floor the heat is unbelievable and there is no air-conditioning just a fan that didnt make much difference. I found it over priced also.

Excellent breakfast…

Very old fashioned, the hotel is pet friendly but there are very few areas where you can walk the dog, missing dog waste bins - made very difficult, the pool was very tiny, overall not happy.

Staff were nice, polite and friendly, as always, which is a big reason we've stayed a few times now. Along with the leisure facilities, which are maintained well. Room was clean and had a fan,which was appreciated due to the very warm weather. We'll look forward to hopefully staying again next year.
