I’ve stayed at many 5-star hotels in Indonesia and even lived at Southeast Asia’s first 5-star hotel for three years. However, The Dharmawangsa Hotel has unlocked a core memory for me. The hotel’s timeless elegance and ‘rustic luxury’ left a lasting impression. The staff’s hospitality made my stay unforgettable even from our first 10 minutes since our arrival; Pak Hamdan gifted my toddler a doll named Jali; Mas Basly and Mas Irwan assisted with a smooth check-in/out also being helpful with my unplanned extended stay. A bittersweet surprise was discovering just how kid-friendly all the staff at The Dharmawangsa Hotel are. My daughter felt so comfortable chatting with every staff member, who not only initiated conversations but also knew exactly when to end them gracefully. Special thanks to Mas Riyan, Mba Sandra, Bpk. Ahmadi, Bpk. David, and Bpk. Edi for their attentive breakfast service, and to Mas Johan, who kept my daughter entertained at the pool. Notably, Mba Diah who helped organize a delightful “poolside painting” activity for my daughter, while I enjoyed a relaxing massage with Mba Diani. Also, I thank to others—which I can’t mention them all individually—who attentively assisted with my family’s requests. Despite staying for two nights, I didn’t get to try all the facilities the hotel offers. My daughter and I spent most of our time at the comfortable swimming pool, which led me to upgrade my extended stay to a Senior Executive Room with a pool view. The peaceful and comfortable ambiance of the hotel, far removed from the hustle and bustle of Jakarta (despite its central location), made me feel incredibly at ease during our stay. This was my first visit, and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. Thank you for re-energizing my family with such a warm and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended, especially for newcomers from outside Jakarta!

The hotel has a very nice ambiance and friendly staff. Even though the hotel location is in the middle of Jakarta, it doesn't seem like it.

A very comfortable hotel for business meetings or staycations for families. Even though the rooms are old, the interior and ambiance are very unique and homely. The national food is very delicious and the service is friendly, especially the waitress named Angela who is very helpful. There is one thing that is unique and very comfortable, namely the indoor swimming pool.

The hotel facilities are very good, starting from a charming lobby, nice rooms, to a beautiful swimming pool, especially with an amazing indoor swimming pool. Another important point is that the food in Jakarta restaurants is very delicious, from breakfast to lunch. In particular, some of the waiters are very friendly and very helpful, for example: Mr. Fadli, Ms. Angela, & the supervisor, Mr. Fredi.

First time staying at this hotel. Huge rooms and bathrooms but rather outdated. So many switches for the lights but many did not function properly. The carpets were somewhat stained here and there. The bed was super comfortable and big. We had a good sleep during New Year's Eve. We went during New Year's Eve so we had dinner at the hotel. The buffet was amazing, especially the seafood bar. We booked the room for breakfast but was kind of disappointed with the quality. Next time I am staying here I will choose the no breakfast option as there are so many good options for breakfast and brunches within the area. Also you could opt for GoFood and they will allow you to do it. Other than that, I was pleased to have stayed here. Will definitely come back for a staycation or two.

Super comfy, very spacious, friendly staff, great environment!

My requirements are basically two things. A bathtub and a balcony/terrace, period. Everything else are of less deciding factor when finding a hotel room/villa. That ' s why I'm still very satisfied even when I don't drive european car so I can't park in front of the lobby, or even when there were mosquitoes hiding in the room ' s wardrobe/closet. Food was beyond exceptional that it justified the price tag. Hotel staffs went above and beyond but not overly attentive which met my preference. Would definitely come back when the need arise.

Harganya sesuai dengan suasana hotel, semua petugas hotel ramah, protokol kesehatan benar-benar dilaksanakan dengan ketat, kebersihan hotel dan fasilitas tidak usah diragukan, will be back!

Ad sedikit masalah di air pas paginya.

? Twas so great staying in here, suasana nya sangat menenangkan. Fasilitas in room lengkap, amenities pun lengkap. Namun ada baiknya disediakan lift dari basement ke lobby serta petunjuk masuk ke lobby dari basement karena kemarin agak bingung masuk dari basement ke atas lewat mana. Overall good, will be back soon?

Hotel yang nyaman untuk staycation. Staff ramah terutama yang namanya Pak Eko. Makanan enak. Tempat tidur yang enak dan suasana kolam renang yang asri.

Hotelnya sangat nyaman, higienis dan pelayanan dari seluruh karyawan sangat sempurna dan sapaan (dengan senang hati) betul-betul terasa melegakan dan mendamaikan, seluruh fasilitas hotelnya juga sangat memukau, apalagi bedroom dan bathroomnya.
