Stayed 10 nights and thanks Gary for helps. Pleasant hotel.

Excellent location with only a short direct bus ride (#333) to Circular Quay and CBD, saved us time with transport. The room is clean/cosy and breakfast is good, with delicious handmade yogurt. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Would loved to stay here again. We enjoyed our stay very much. Free wifi is a plus.

Great location. Room ok - chose a queen suite to have some room to move in. Bed and bathroom clean. Fittings, furnishings etc very jaded with woodwork and decor in need of substantial repair - I guess it's what makes it affordable. Thought I'd enjoy a bath in the elegant tub, but the water ran brown with rust - clearly no-one had ever used it, or checked it in recent times. Staff quite absent most of the time, and not the most welcoming when present. Try asking for a coffee at five to seven in the morning! Strange cupboard in living room with a packet of crisps in it together with a 'Smile You're On Camera' sign !! Felt like a lodger rather than a guest. Altogether quite funky, not always in a good way.

Parking and breakfast very easy and helpful. Staff very helpful however due to the age of the property a distinct mouldy smell could be smelt from the room. Also shower / bathroom tub leaking in the bathroom .

The facility was great. Really central to everything that brought us up to Sydney & access in & out of the property was easy in & outside of business hours. We will definitely stay here again & the staff were all very happy to help & assist to help make your stay enjoyable

The hotel is nice and staff friendly but interior tired and needs updating. Towel rail kept falling off, hand basin drain not working well. Room with annex and sliding door access a bit strange and difficult to lock sliding door. TV doesn’t chrome cast so you could only watch free to air TV.

An old but very comfortable stay, rooms are small but sufficient. Quiet area with a simple breakfast included, this property is on a great location close to quirky shops, cafes and Sydney Cricket Ground, not expensive and I will return.

A stylish old hotel with modern amenities. It had a lovely old-world charm. Comfortable bed in a pleasant room. Simple, but tasty free breakfast included and the coffee was delicious.

Loved it. Friendly welcome. Easy to find and park. Quick check in. Clean, spacious, quiet room. Comfy bed. Hot shower. Great coffee and breakfast on terrace. Easy walk to Allianz.

Old style hotel, upscale neighborhood, tight stairs leading to rooms, bus are only real options in area, bar is open from noon till 2.30pm, all staff gone by 3pm, on your own after that

We were quite disappointed in our room. Shabby, chipped furniture, small bathroom, inconvenient using the front gate and door code in the dark. Breakfast okay, but limited. did not use parking. But the saving grace for us was the location, which was perfect.
