Small but neat and clean hotel, typical of London. Staff is helpful and friendly, location is close enough to get around. Only complain would be the lack of elevator - my room was located on the 3rd floor and had to climb up 5 flights of stairs - not easy with luggage.

The hotel is located near the underground (Central and Circle line) so it is pretty easy to get to the attractions in the city, and is 15-minute from Paddington station by foot. There is a small park next to the hotel, and my room was faced the park. In terms of the room, it is very clean and warm, but is very tiny. If you have a large suitcase, it is hard to open it. Anyway, the price is quite reasonable for the hotel at the heart of London.

Not bad environment. Though not coming again even next time in London.

It is not far away from tube. Quiet, cheap. But you need to go to another building to get a key after 5pm, and there is a minute you need to ring the bell and they will let you in when they see you in camera. However, not much complain in this price in zone 1 and it is a kind of security.

I had a lovely time staying at this hotel. I arrived at 8am after a red eye flight, and to my luck my room was ready. I stayed in the room with the twin bed. It was small, but perfect for my solo trip. I had a great view of the Kensington Gardens. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Fantastic location too, a short walk from Notting Hill and Hyde Park. When I return to London, I will definitely stay here.

The first night my room was very cold. The next day (probably) housekeeping had turned on the radiator. When i came back at night, the room was about 30 degree and the radiator too hot to touch. I was left balancing the temperature my self by opening the window and adjusting the radiator. Also the water pressure was so low it was difficult to wash and it took forever until it was warm enough.
