When I booked the room, there was no notice that there would be an extra fee for pets, and it clearly said pets friendly. When I took my dog ​​to the hotel, the front desk actually charged me a pet fee, which was incredible! The reason was that I had to pay if I booked on Expedia, but if I booked directly with them, I wouldn't have to. It was totally unreasonable. I drove for more than five hours to get there, and there was no way I could leave, so I had to pay. The next morning, they said that the room rate included breakfast, but the breakfast was a small paper bag with a very disgusting cupcake package, a paper-wrapped orange juice, an energy bar, and a fruit cup for 25 cents. After opening it, it was full of plastic smell. My child and I couldn't eat it, so we threw it all away. This is the worst breakfast I have ever encountered in a hotel in my life, no doubt about it.

Meticulously clean room w/ a SUPER comfy bed. Friendly staff. SUPER worth the drive (from Kamloops) for a peaceful & quiet stay during the 'off-season' when the golf course next door is closed! I will be keeping the conference venue (& their catering services) in mind for future workshops/retreats.

We really enjoyed our stay! The late night receptionist greeted us so warmly, what a treat! She offered us a microwave and mini fridge without us even asking for it and brought it to our room which we put to good use. Her beaming smile was a joy. The lady at our check out was every bit as friendly and courteous, so nice to be treated that way. The room was charming and comfortable and our dog loved the huge grounds! Hope to visit again!

Quiet but too far from shopping area and hard to find something to eat

This hotel is so quaint! Really want to come back in the summer. Loved that each room had its own name. Was sad the pool and restaurant were closed for the season. I appreciated that they put out muffin's in the morning.

Staff very friendly. Room clean and size right. Floor lamp broken. A bit remote, far from city and nothing much to do or see or walk around. A bit different from the pic. Probably won't visit again.

When staying in Kamloops this is the only Hotal I will stay at. Without exception. This least my 6th or 7th stay. Always awesome. Always

Unsafe, Poorly Managed, and Disappointing for the Price I stayed at the South Thompson Inn and Conference Centre while travelling for work and had a very upsetting experience. One evening, before 8 p.m., I returned to find the main door locked. No one had told me I needed a code to get back in, and the code was printed in tiny text on the corner of the envelope that held my room key — something easy to miss. I was left outside alone in the dark and cold with no car, repeatedly calling every number provided. I called the emergency line around 15 times, plus the manager, property manager, housekeeping, and even the chef. No one answered. I left multiple messages. I was scared and completely unsupported, in the cold and dark. Eventually, someone called me later that night to see if I got inside. Management only refunded half a night and didn't even check in with me the next day — which doesn’t come close to compensating for the stress or safety concern. For the price point and isolation of the location, this is unacceptable. Other issues included: No real breakfast (just a granola bar or fruit cup) despite being far from any stores or restaurants. No feminine hygiene products available in the public washrooms. Outdated rooms with shared balconies that lack privacy. If I hadn’t had a coworker there to help, I would have been stranded. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their communication, emergency procedures, and guest safety protocols.

Perfektes Hotel auf der Durchreise. Ruhig gelegen, sehr sauber und mit dem notwendigen einfachen Komfort ausgestattet. Aussicht/Gegend ist sehr sehenswürdig.
