Lovely staying experience, friendly staff, yummy food. Hope they can extend spa/gym room service hours

Had a wonderful stay at Tortworth Court. Room was upgraded to a junior suite due to 2 big events happening while we were there & new room was quieter. We enjoyed the events that were on while we were there. Enjoyed dinner in the restaurant Sunday evening.

No air conditioning :-(

Perfect as a couple of nights for a birthday treat. Feels like a mixture of Hogwarts and Downton and has a colourful history a secret army use and even a prison. Comfortable rooms, old-ish but nice pool and spa, but the highlight is the excellent food and service. Before cocktails in the library, and to work up an appetite, we used the free naps for the arboretum to find the American oaks from the civil war. There was a commercial conference in other rooms, and apparently it's popular with weddings - but the building and gardens are big enough.

There was someone else in my bedroom when I let myself in, so suggest you knock.

Stunning venue for a beautiful wedding. Slightly disappointed that we paid extra for a junior suite and didn’t even have a bottle of water each in the room. It was 30degrees and I will say thank god for the Dyson fan in the room - that was very much needed!

Excellent hotel, lovely food and very friendly staff - but why spoil the ship for a ha'porth of tar by using really cheap and nasty foam rubber pillows?

Really lovely hotel and lovely setting, very beautiful, sadly rooms are dated and bathrooms looking very tired and not particularly clean. Good breakfast though!

Lovely location. Two restaurants, spa area (pool/hot tub/sauna/steam+spa services), indoor and outdoor bars, outdoor seating areas with good views and walks. I recommend this location. Close to the M5 but you wouldn’t know it. Clean room and comfortable bed. For me, I felt the evening food was expensive. Breakfast was included and good quality, plenty of options.

Gorgeous grounds. It was a taxi ride away from our Cotswold way walk but absolutely worth it. Such treat midway on our trek. Beautiful historic building on park like setting. The spa was a treat and the atrium bar a great hangout.

A fabulous hotel and well worth a stay! We made a last minute booking as a stop off on the motorway - it's about a mile from the M5 but you'd never know it. A beautiful old building and great amenities mean you don't either need or want to go elsewhere. A choice of a fine dining restaurant or the bistro-style Atrium meets all needs. Had it been better weather when we were there we would have loved sitting out on the beautiful terrace and enjoying the garden. I'm very very fussy about hotels and my only complaints were that our room was so far from reception and that the shower tray had a trace of limescale in it but I really am picking at small things as overall this hotel is excellent and great value for money.

This was a fabulous stay. The surroundings are very impressive..as are the staff who are very obliging. My room was great and the meal very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any request. . The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options. Overall, the service exceeded all expectations, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning in the future.

Stayed there for a wedding. The room didn’t feel clean when I came in. The bathroom floor was wet. I found hair in the room that want mine. There was no complimentary water bottle on the first day (it was there on the second day) and the windows didn’t open on the warmest days. The grounds are beautiful but also service was a bit slow as there were many wedding parties and guests.

The staff are fantastic, really helpful and genuinely caring. The hotel is looking a bit tired in places and the room I had needs a really good clean.
