Het is HET hotel in het plaatsje. Vanuit het hotel kijk je uit over de baai. Als je geluk hebt zie je al de eerste walvissen zwemmen. Hotel ligt centraal. Supermarkt, restaurants zijn allemaal op loopafstand. Het hotel is oud. Beetje vergaande glorie maar het heeft wel wat. Een hotel met een unieke historie. Hotelkamers zijn niet voorzien van een airco. Dus op warme dagen is het warm op de kamer. Personeel is erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt of diner in het hotel. Hier kan ik niks over zeggen. Er is een zwembad wat geopend is tot 19 uur. Verder sta je direct aan het strand. Het is wel HET hotel waar je moet zijn als je blijft slapen.

The gentlemen on reception at night loves his job and is extremely pleasant and helpful. The property is beautiful in an amazing setting. The food at the restaurant is very good. Only drawback is there is no air conditioning in the rooms, and we were staying during a heat wave which is quite rare in Tadoussac.

Beautiful hotel. Perfectly located and easy to find. Parking and check-in were no problem. Very welcoming and clean. Most of the staff were fluent in both English and French. So many places to hang out. Restaurant. (Great food), lounge, large lobby with comfy seats and large picturesque windows. (There was even a table with a puzzle going.) There is an outdoor second floor balcony or large lawn with chairs. Pool, tennis courts, gift shop. Just a walk from quaint shops, restaurants, whale museum, trails and paths for whale watching! We saw so many beluga whales. (Bring your binoculars.) Amenities were awesome!!

The location is absolutely unbeatable and truly iconic. However, the hotel itself was rather disappointing. The rooms are quite small, which is understandable for a historic building, but the lack of air conditioning was a major issue. Our room was on the top floor and became extremely hot. The hotel provided a standing fan, but it was still very uncomfortable. Overall, the facilities feel quite dated and basic. The tennis courts were old and uneven, with water accumulating after the rain, so we weren’t able to play as planned. The common areas could also have been cleaner, and we were surprised that a hotel of this size did not offer EV charging. This beautiful historic property relies heavily on its iconic location and charm and would greatly benefit from some renovation and modernization.

The lobby is beautiful and spacious with many seating areas. Do book a riverview is possible. Restaurant on site offers a great buffet breakast and many choices for dinner with a gorgeous view either indoors or the waterfront You are a close walk to catch the Whale watching tour

80 + degrees and still no a/c. 2 nights in the 80's inside and out. Baths have been renovated.

Habitacion muy caliente

This hotel reminds me of bygone eras. It's full of character and charm. And is my choice of stay whenever in Tadoussac All Staff is really helpful and kind. The location of the property is also what sets it apart from others. It just sits right on a huge lot, facing the water. Rooms are a little on the older side. No aircon. But nights are usually cold in Tadoussac, so not much of an issue. And the reception sends portable fan if you really need it. Love this place. Will definitely stay there again.

L'hôtel jouit d'un emplacement exceptionnel, le personnel est très aimable mais ... pas de climatisation ! De plus, une moquette vieillissante n'aide pas avec l'humidité ! Notre chambre réservée au dernier moment, certes, était petite, une petite fenêtre équipée d'un bâton pour la maintenir ouverte sans clim , très cher !!
