Nice hotel with good spa facilities close to Stockon Heath if you want an evening out. We didn't use the hotel bar or restaurant so I can't comment on those

Good sized room, very clean. Poor on the following points - - I ordered a bucket of beers for the room. On check in at 3pm I found the beers sat in tepid water as the ice had melted. No bottle opener, I asked for one 3 times and never got one. - Room service pizza was a congealed mess. The phone in my room didn’t work, after attempts made to contact the restaurant on my own phone, I gave up! - late check out - I paid for a 2pm check out. At around 12, the housekeeper opens the door and walks in. This was followed by another staff member knocking the door three times to find out why I was there. I packed up quickly and left. -air con unit very noisy. Not all plugs in the room work

Stunning building and location only little niggle was the double bed was two singles pushed together and the mattresses dipped in the middle because of this other than that brilliant venue would use again

Great location for Warrington, Manchester and Alton towers. Excellent breakfast and leisure facilities. Big, clean rooms and super friendly staff

Stayed over in a double room , room was very tired looking and stains on walls. Windows only opened 2 inches and so resulted in very hot room. Bed was uncomfortable. Used spa facilities which were disappointing, steam room was not working and spa was busy with children despite having designated family swim times. Restaurant was very over priced. Having stayed in numerous spa hotels, expected a better standard here but was disappointing

This is the third year my sister and I have stayed here for my birthday. The staff on reception were helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good and again staff helpful and friendly. Hopefully we will return again next year

I've stayed here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Team are always helpful, the pool is clean and comfortable and the rooms are exactly what's needed. Parking is always easy no matter how busy the hotel is which is a massive plus! Even on valentine's weekend

Quick and easy check-in. Lovely room, air-conditioned. Spacious and full bathroom. We used the pool and spa area, which is lovely. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was slightly chaotic, it was a Sunday morning so predictably busy and they seem to be shortstaffed. The newly served fried eggs were cold, as were the plates but generally it was ok! I felt sorry for the staff because they were doing a great job despite being understaffed. The room was meticulously clean. I would stay here again as it’s in a great location for travelling in the area

We came for a spa day and overnight stay with treatments booked, for my partner’s birthday. The check in process was quick and easy, our room was lovely (we booked a king room) but we ended up being upgraded for free to a superior king which included a mini bar and was slightly larger. The bed was super comfortable and we had a really good nights sleep. The spa was nice, the relaxation room and treatment areas were really clean and so relaxing, ambient lighting and calming music really set the tone. The staff were lovely, explained everything to us as we had never been before. We both had full body massages and they were incredible. Claire did mine and she was really lovely and I was super relaxed afterwards. The pool area was nice, a little busy and not exactly like the photos online, but we still enjoyed it. The hot tub was gorgeous but possibly a bit too much chlorine in, my eyes and jewellery suffered slightly! I’d made a request to have champagne put in our room while we were in the spa and they did it perfectly. My partner was really surprised when we got back up to the room. We didn’t eat dinner there but had breakfast the next morning which was a lovely buffet style with a wide variety of choices, suitable for coeliacs and vegetarian and vegan. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and spa experience and we will definitely be back.

It’s our fourth time using this hotel. It is a very convenient stopover location while travelling further north. It’s always a very pleasant experience.

Booked 1 night as a relaxing get away. The pool, steam room, and sauna were great. Sadly the jacuzzi that i had been looking forwards to was closed for cleaning which was disappointing. Unfortunately there were a few negatives. Firstly i was on the second floor and on exiting the lift was greeted with an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke which was not pleasant. The room it self was nice but the pillows were extremely hard and seemed as though an oversized pillow have been put in a pillow case too small. I coukd not use them. The shower was damaged and had no off position meaning it was difficult to stop the shower without turning on the bath tap. The sink was also blocked and drained extremely slowly. These things let what coukd have been a lovely stay down.

Room was beautifully clean with an up to date bathroom. Waiting staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful as were the receptionists. Thank you

Great hotel ,very clean and very friendly staff

My husband and I have just returned from an overnight stay. We had a lovely room on the 2nd floor. It was really clean and a good size. We used the leisure facilities which were also spotlessly clean. The pool is a great size and has loungers around it. Also great hairdryer and straighteners. We had dinner in the bar and the staff were great and really helpful. The food was lovely and well priced. We had a twin room and we both felt the beds were quite hard and a bit uncomfortable, it took us a while to get to sleep. Breakfast was a bit unorganized, when we arrived there were lots of tables but they hadn't been cleared so took a while to get a clean table. Other people came in and where walking about looking for tables. The breakfast itself was lovely with a good selection of cereal, fruit, yogurt and pastries. My husband also enjoyed a cooked breakfast. I can only assume that they were short staffed in the morning. The hotel is lovely and the staff are really nice and welcoming.
