Great service!

A totally luxury hotel. Even have peacock walk around. Breakfast and dinner are wonderful. The only drawback is not close to city centre (40 minutes walk or 10 pounds by taxi) which I think is unavoidable if you want to experience the quiet and luxury

The staff was exceptional. We arrived early before our room was ready and the staff took care of our luggage and directed us to a delightful afternoon tea while we waited. We blew an electrical breaker trying to use an American hairdryer and they promptly got the electricity fixed. They were very flexible with dinner reservations, working around our daytime activities.

The most magical property ever!

Peerless. Transport to Georgian, Jacobite and Stuart Scotland. No better place to stay in Edinburgh (except perhaps its sister property The Witchery). 10/10

A hospedagem em Prestonfield é sensacional. Uma atração a parte da viagem. A arquitetura, os jardins, os pássaros, o conforto do quarto e a simpatia da equipe, que faz toda a diferença o café da manhã é espetacular. Com certeza será o meu endereço sempre que retornar a Edimburgo.

This is hands-down, the best hotel in Edinburgh. The location, history, amenities, staff and overall beauty and quality are difficult to describe. You feel like you’re staying in a 17 century Scottish manners and essentially, you are. 12 out of 10.

Gorgeous, immaculate, luxurious. I’d give this stay more stars if I could. The staff caters to your every whim, the property is spotless, they have a free roaming peacock, cat and 3 highland cows. Idyllic. Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in hands down. Worth the splurge.

This property was beautiful. We loved the cow when we opened the blind to our window in the morning. The first thing we saw was a beautiful furry cow. We slept for 11 solid hours and everything was so comfortable and all the staff was so attentive we couldn’t have asked for more. We just love it here in Scotland.

Just perfect in every way

Every detail about this hotel is beautifully considered and luxurious. Absolutely wonderful staff. The restaurant, Rhubarb, is superb. A perfect stay :))

Prestonfield House is like an oasis in central Edinburgh. It is a beautifully maintained period house with nice grounds. The staff were excellent. I had a party of Thai friends for dinner and they loved both the atmosphere and the dinner itself.

We had an absolutely super stay. Seamless attentive and yet super cool staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A unique experience. Can’t wait to return.
