Great location - room was very nice except for the AC. Never got the room cooked below 80 degrees.

I stayed at the flamingo for a 3 week Ironman training camp just this last April, 2026. From the time walking into the property it felt a Little like coming home. It isn't flashy or big and fancy, it's lovely, quaint and feels like home. I brought my bike and luggage up the stairs to the 3rd floor, and when I entered the room it was lovely, like my bedroom. Clean, good quality bed, nicely appointed and quiet. The next morning and mornings after, staff greeted you warmly, breakfast available and always willing to talk and help with whatever you might want or need. It's a very simple life and honestly, it was kinda perfect. All the staff was on point and I really had no complaints with communication. Furthermore, it's right in the main town, only one block from oceanfront. I enjoyed the stay and have inquired to stay again this November for the race there on Cozumel.

I can’t say enough about this place! Love it. We come here every year for a group diving week. A wonderfully charming botique hotel with a great vibe and perfect location. Love the decor of each room. Be sure to schedule time to watch the sunset from the rooftop pool area. Tom (owner) and Oscar (manager) have always gone out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast is superb and the location nails it. Just enough off the main road to avoid street noise and congestion. Bakery/coffee shop next door and an easy walk to the city center town square. Restaurants and bars all around. “Can’t say enough”….love it.

Great independently owned hotel in a great location. Very walkable to shopping, restaurants, and other local sites.

Los cuartos huelen a humedad las camas súper duras en mal estado, falta muchísima atención al cliente si se pierde la llave o necesitas algo nunca hay nadie que te pueda atender porque nunca está el dueño si se te olvida la llave tienes que correr con suerte de que el dueño no esté cenando y te haga esperar 1 hora para abrirte el cuarto de hotel que rentaste o correr con suerte que esté en la isla para abrirte no recomiendo este hotel para nada pues no es UN HOTEL

The staff was helpful, the room and public areas were clean and well maintained. Great location. Air conditioning did not work. Management did not offer an apology nor did they offer some sort of compensation for our discomfort. My wife has asthma and had a difficult time.

Internet wifi was terrible and no tv in room

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo. We had the Deluxe room with balcony. Room #21's balcony came with a table and two chairs, perfectly sized to step out and enjoy the partial Caribbean view The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable king sized bed. The hotel's location is perfectly situated near all of the most desirable restaurants and shops. While the hotel offers an excellent breakfast in the courtyard, the bakery next door is awesome!!! The staff (Tom & Oscar) were so helpful and accommodating, offering excellent suggestions for everything Cozumel. We will definitely stay at this little gem again.

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena y el hotel está bien agradable. La atención del admistrador es regular La comida solo buena Tuve algunos detalles, me asignaron una habitación qué tenia muchos detalles, puse una mala reseña y al día siguiente me ofrecieron o me asignaron la habitación qué había contratado. Lo que rescato es la ubicación del Hotel 🙌

When i arrivedThe front door was locked.There was nobody at the front desk. I waited for ten minutes before the owner Tom came to open the front door for me.

Great location. Many culinary options within walking distance. Highly recommend.

Execlente hotel con muy buena ubicacion

It was a very comfortable stay with a great rooftop view of the water. Tom the host gave great advice for snorkeling companies and car rentals. We wish we had had spent another night there.

El lugar está muy bien ubicado y las instalaciones son buenas. Sin embargo, llegué a un hotel fantasma. Me recibió una persona que nunca volví a ver y nunca hubo nadie en recepción. Llamé por teléfono y escribí por whatsapp y no tuve respuesta. Al tercer día, el aire acondicionado dejó de funcionar. El wifi estuvo terrible y ni siquiera había buena señal móvil. Ni el bar ni el restaurante funcionan. Al final nadie estaba para hacer el check-out y tuve que solo dejar la llave de la habitación en el counter.

The staff were amazing, very friendly and had very good recommendation for the tours and foods. The linens weren't clean, we had to ask to vhange them. Internet connection was very poor in our room only at the lobby could have connection.

Pro’s- this property is in an amazing location, close to restaurants, shopping, the water and bars. Rooms were very clean and appearance of the hotel is very nice! Complimentary breakfast was very good! Oscar was amazing- super friendly! Con’s- lobby bar is “open” from 7am- to I think 10pm but there was never anyone behind the bar to order a drink. Rooftop pool is nice, amazing views but a bit rundown. Needs a deck refurbish and new patio/lounge chairs. A/C works well in the rooms but only works if room key has it activated- can’t run it while you are gone so coming back from a long hot day you have to wait until the room cools down again. We got used to it but a little much in the beginning of our trip. Overall we will definitely stay at this hotel again!
