Staff very accommodating friendly

Just got really runned down since we last went there very sad to see it not looked after the way we would have wanted to see it and remembered it, also food was expensive for what it was and the breakfast buffet was like a hotel one but 25-30 bucks a head ouch for food that sat out for a long time

The staff in the dining room were great! Enjoyed our stay here. Dinner was very good! they have a mini farm, swimming pool and offer a boat trip. It's a very pretty place.

We loved visiting the Lodge again, after 27 years on our honeymoon in 1999. We celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary, & enjoyed our dinner & breakfast!

The staff in the restauant were very friendly and helpful.

The place is a very good vacation spot but it lacks internet and no cell phone connection at all. The wifi is so bad almost no connect at all most of the time. Atleast breakfast should be included in the price. To go to local grocery it is 20 to 30 minutes passing through the forest. The good thing is it has mini fridge and microwave. It should have some kitchen counter table to do some cooking in this isolated place. Anyways the place is very good having a lot of free things to do. I recommend this place to visit.

The hotel has a lot of great amenities: free bikes and kayaks, an indoor pool, a sports court, and a small farm with animals. However, there are a lot of mosquitoes and black flies. The shared kitchen has no window for ventilation, and the sink is way too small—it’s practically impossible to wash dishes.

Restaurant, pool , hot and sauna were top notch. Staff were very helpful and Cabin was right on the river. Highly recommended

Bed comfortable, beautiful views, and the ability to use kayaks!

Breakfast fruit bowl was not ripe. Coffee was warm only. Impressive facilities noted during a morning walk.

Beautiful location with swimming pool, tennis courts, plenty of walks and a great place to chill.

Desperate for an update. Staff is very friendly. Pool is outdated but they keep the pool very warm. Kids loved the warm pool water. Room are okay but need updating. Bathroom is very small. They show pictures of updated rooms but even though very few guests we got an older room. View from room is beautiful overlooking river. Dinner was very good at the restaurant. The whole property just needs updating, declutter rooms, hallways and common areas.

Que decir… todo increíble. Sobre todo la atención. El hotel nos ofreció de forma gratuita canoas y bicicletas para pasear. Disponía de piscina cubierta hasta las 9pm. Teníamos una casa tipo “cabaña” frente al río, con porche y mesa para comer. Las instalaciones son preciosas, tienen animales de granja, árboles, área de juegos, tienda de souvenirs, zona de fogata. La verdad hubiéramos estado unos días más. El desayuno no está incluido, es algo caro, pero tienen cocineros para ti, está justificado. La cena igual, se paga aparte. Dimos un paseo en barco por la tardes, es una excursión a parte. También tienes la posibilidad de hacer Treking por los alrededores. Es un poco caro pero creo que fue una experiencia inolvidable.

The staff are phenomenal. The facilities and rooms are lacking major repairs and are very dated. Pool area quite dirty. Food was great.

We had a great stay in one of their chalets. The space was clean but tired. We had some issues with wifi (seems to have been a random site-wide issue) but staff did their best to get a quick resolution. The property at large is nice, but like the chalet, showing some of its age. The food at the main dining space was fantastic, reservations are required but simple to book, and staff were beyond pleasant! For the price it was a great retreat, spectacular morning and evening views, lots of wildlife and nearby trails, and very helpful staff. We would certainly stay again.

Situated on the beautiful Liscombe River. Saw wildlife and found it very peaceful. The staff were wonderful and we wished we had more time to stay longer.

Gemischtes Fazit: ruhiges Zimmer mit schönem Blick auf den Fluss und sehr gutes Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal - auch sehr gutes Frühstück Inbegriffene Nutzung von Kanu und Kajak prima wie auch die kostenpflichtige Bootsfahrt. Der Mitarbeiter war sehr hilfsbereit und hat viele Informationen gegeben. Einiges in der Anlage ist in die Jahre gekommen und bedarf einer Auffrischung! Der Sauberkeit in der Anlage sollte mehr Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet werden .
