The outside pool area was dirty, the chair cushions are mold and mildew stained and the area and pool was not clean . I went to the pool 2 days and both days were so bad I could not use the pool. All the indoor areas are extremely clean and well maintained

Détails de déception: Salles de bains complètement obsolètes (douches et baignoires très vieilles et ne fonctionnant pas bien, voire pas du tout lorsque nous n'avions carrément pas d'eau à plusieurs reprises. Absence de transports navette jusqu'à Montecatini et obligation de prendre des taxis très chers. Déclenchements intempestifs des alarmes feu! Rénovation indispensable de plusieurs éléments afin de justifier le statut d'hôtel 5* Notes positives: Soins des cure excellentes, en particulier les massages thérapeutiques. Cuisine correcte et plutôt bonne.

Staff were awesome! Hotel is beautiful. Would stay again. Beds were super comfortable. Best sleep we got in Italy. This resort was a nice break from the city visits. The spa was nice, but the open hours made it difficult to plan days to visit areas like Pisa and Florence and spend time there without missing the spa closing. We did not have breakfast or lunch at the resort but we did have dinner. As someone who is accustomed to fine dining, it was disappointing. Food was under seasoned and lacked depth of flavor. I would definitely stay here again! Just next time venture down the way 5 minutes to a local restaurant. ☺️

Rooms are very dusty

Hot springs are warm at best mid 90’s Grotto experience was not impressive or worth the cost.

Wasted a whole day going from Rome to Florence just to take a train rent a car and go to the hotel to have to wait an hour to check in, be told conflicting information on where to wait, and order food that was absolutely horrible. I took one bite waited for my husband to taste his and right away said we will take the check and ran to get our bags and leave. We did not even stay or pick up our room keys. We went right back to the train station returned the rental and took the next train back to Rome to eat real food. There’s nothing around the hotel so their food being bad and us not eating all day after a wonderful food experience in Rome there was no way we were waiting for their dinner or prepaid breakfast I added to my reservation. A waste of money. The place is beautiful but the experience not worth it.

Incredible facilities, rooms are cleaned really well, staff are always very attentive. To be able to access the grotta is a real highlight, it's an incredible place, much bigger than expected and the facilities are again outstanding. Spa had a lot of choice, the outdoor swimming pools were unexpected given we visited in December and it was never too busy, often it was just us. There are also lots of hiking options from just next to the property, starting from inside the hotel grounds.

My stay felt like heaven. I planned it smack in the middle of city hopping thru europe. The staff made sure all our needs and wants were met. The outdoor heated pool was to die for. The grotta was interesting and the massages!! Book it if you are thinking about it just book it.

The floating experience in the grotto is a must! What an incredible once in a lifetime opportunity! The property is wonderful & the experience was incredible!
