Very close to the train station

The hotel is very near Trento train station and easy to find. The hotel is very large and the room is also big enough. The buffet breakfast is rich and the environment is very nice.

This review was saved by the staff. The summer has been very warm. Exceptionally warm even but not surprisingly warm. This exceptional warmth has made the AC in the hotel work in an unsatisfactory level. It wouldn't be a stretch to way the hotel has sold something it doesn't have when claiming to have AC in rooms. I've once seen the same pattern, so I recognized it. The hotel management is absolutely knowledgeable about the situation, but instructs the staff to go through the same process with each complaint about rooms being too hot: 1. Send someone to fiddle with the AC controls and hope the customer is silenced. 2. If not, move the customer to another room. 3. If still not, repeat 1. even if it's demeaning. 4. If the customer is headstrong and still unhappy, move to another room and raise the room level. This is of course unsustainable if nobody gives up at earlier steps. Many do for sure and that's why it works. I gave a four-star review because the old hotel is a magnificent building and the staff was professional and very nice, even though I didn't sleep that well at all. I'd like to see these kinds of hotels continue to exist. So, my message is ultimately to the decision-makers: Shame on you. You need to have that pricey AC overhaul right now. You've known about it for a longer time.

Hotel lindo no centro da cidade!

Bell’hotel, centrale, vicino alla stazione e al centro città. Camera grande e pulita. Colazione buona ma non troppo varia, in fondo poca scelta. Buon ristorante

The location of this hotel was fabulous. It was within walking distance of the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful in identifying local destinations for coffee, food, and happy hour. Within two blocks of the hotel there was a grocery store in multiple shops. The location of the hotel made it very convenient to walk to restaurants shopping and sites.

Excellent hotel for US travelers

Mi estancia en el Grand Hotel de Trento fue, en general, agradable. La ubicación es uno de sus mayores aciertos: está muy cerca de la estación de tren, aunque no de forma inmediata, ya que es necesario atravesar un parque para llegar. Al mismo tiempo, se encuentra a pocos pasos del centro histórico y de los principales puntos de interés de la ciudad, lo cual resulta muy conveniente. El hotel es grande y con alta afluencia de huéspedes —como su propio nombre lo sugiere—, por lo que si se busca una experiencia más íntima o personalizada, quizás no sea la mejor opción. La habitación es de tamaño adecuado. El baño conserva un estilo antiguo, pero es cómodo y limpio. Sin embargo, tanto los pasillos como las alfombras muestran signos de desgaste, y el mobiliario de la habitación podría beneficiarse de mantenimiento. El sistema de iluminación resulta poco práctico, y hay escasez de enchufes disponibles, lo que obliga a desconectar lámparas para poder cargar dispositivos. El desayuno es correcto: suficiente, aunque sin destacar especialmente en sabor o variedad. Eso sí, incluye carnes frías de buena calidad y una selección aceptable de quesos. Un punto muy positivo es la atención del personal de recepción, quienes fueron en todo momento amables y atentos. En conclusión, es un hotel cómodo, bien ubicado y funcional, ideal para estancias prácticas, aunque con áreas claras de mejora en instalaciones y modernización.

This property was in the heart of the beautiful city of Trento. What a gem Trento is. We walked everywhere and toured the castle. The views from the top of the castle were fantastic. Everything was very close to the hotel.

Hotel muito bonito, confortável, quarto um pouco pequeno. Tentei um up-grade mas não consegui e a diferença financeira para um quarto um pouco maior não compensava. Café da manhã muito bom e variado.
