It was lovely!

Great location and close to the Vienna Opera house! Staff was super friendly and was walkable to attractions in the city.

Beautifully located next to a main shopping area, transportation and the Staasoper. Beautiful hotel with real old world charm. The staff were magnificent, very friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for better accommodations.

A lovely small hotel on a pedestrianised street: fabulous rooms; very nice breakfast (with fizz if you want!); very friendly staff. Convenient for the State Opera and the pedestrianised town centre. Our 4th stay here - it is our go to hotel for our trips to Vienna. Highly recommended

Loved absolutely everything about this hotel! Warm, cozy, and welcoming (delicious coffee available 24/7 in the lobby), this hotel made us feel like we were staying with old friends with very good taste who'd lived there since the 19th C.. Charming rooms that were amazingly quiet, with windows opening onto a quaint street that's literally right around the corner from all that the Alte Stadt has to offer. Just perfect!

Excelent location, quite, clean, nice room

The only thing I really like about this property is the location walking distance every where the beds are very old and making a lot of noise when you turned even the floor too noisy some of the staff were nice some very rude

It was within the remit of the period for Vienna. Would stay again and recommend it to others.

Very disappointing first impression upon arrival. Having booked a Queen room we were initially provided with a twin room - even though the room was booked 3mths in advance. We were informed that Queen rooms were unavailable - why sell the choice then ? Another room was offered to us, which we accepted as being the least bad option, but it was only two single beds together, with a sheet covering both beds, and two single duvets - still not a bed for 2 people to sleep in together... Room was too hot, and thermostat on wall was so old that the number identification on the dial had worn away. We had to open windows (0 degrees Celsius outside) to regulate the room temperature. Very good location for the opera house/cathedral and shopping area.

Great location. Xuanig(spelling) was exceptional. Genuinely friendly and so helpful!! She is an asset to your hotel!

Don’t stay in room 11. It sounded like we were staying in a wind tunnel. The room wasn’t great, they gave us one bath towel and one hand towel for two guests. I will say the breakfast was pretty good. They weren’t going to offer you anything extra unless you asked though. I think you could find a better hotel in Vienna for the price.

Great location

We had a short but sweet stay during an overnight layover in Vienna. The staff were so kind to help us arrange a driver from the airport, stayed up a little later than usual so we could do our late check-in, and were super kind in person as well as over email (prior to our stay). They even left a little chocolate on each pillow, and we really liked the split comforters! The room did have a very faint smell of smoke, which I'm sure is near impossible to completely remove. It didn't bother us, but just a heads up for someone who be sensitive to smells. It's in a great location and right down the street from a restaurant (1516) that served great food and drinks until 1 am! Highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel and room very clean and guest service was very helpful. Hotel and rooms are like stepping back to the Victorian era- a treat and great stay Oh- and the location is awesome

This is a very convenient location. It is walkable to the Opera House, Hofburg Palace, and shopping areas. The breakfast is a small area, but it has good food options and great vibe with Mozart playing in the background. There is no AC in the room as is standard in Vienna, so we slept with the window open. There was some construction and loud people in the alley in the middle of the night. The front desk was not very knowledgeable about Vienna or helpful. We had to confirm multiple times with the front desk about our airport transfer.

Great location for seeing sights, friendly and helpful staff went above to help us find medicine when not feeling well, umbrellas available at both doors which came in handy during stormy weather. Would stay again!
