What a pleasure to see this hotel undergoing some significant upgrades - it will be great once complete.

The room was dated and had a muaty smell. One BIG issue is Hotels.com says there is a restaurant on site. There is NOT. That is false advertising. It was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. We had to leave the hotel each of our 4 nights to get dinner. Having a small breakfast available each morning does NOT constitute having a restaurant on site.

The key card for the room stopped working. I had to get the front desk to reprogram it twice. The bathroom door came off one of its hinges when I went to open it. It was only held on with one tiny screw. One of the beds in the room sagged in the middle. When I tried to find the switch for the light in the room, I couldn't find it. After some searching, I found it covered over by a mirror for reason. I stayed here two nights and paid $180 per night. I don't think I will be staying here again.

the bed was in horrible condition, might as well slept on cardboard & the front desk clerk wouldn't let us move rooms.

the room was just ok for the most part it was clean but it is in need of an upgrade. Mattress was ok but the pillows are aweful ... i booked a king bed and the 4 pillows put together barely covered the center of the bed. definitely NOT king pillows :( the bed frame is not attached to the wall and there was no headboard so if we tried to sit on the edge of the bed to watch tv the whole bed tipped forward. After a late night, we were rudly awakened by some early morning risers speaking in a foreign language (east indian) I realize this hotel is in a small town so it may not be fancy but your prices should reflect this.... I paid over $200 for one night stay which in my opion was way too expensive for the room we had.

the door to the room barley closed it moved about an inch once shut and latched. The drapes had been removed from the window leaving only blinds covering the window. curtain rods were there and stick to close curtains just there weren't any curtains. A rack to hang clothes on was barely attached to the wall ( 2 attachments were not attached out of the 4 used to attach it to the wall. Some large white stains on the carpet did not add to sense that the room was diligently cleaned or maintained. No kleenex in the holder. TV did not seem to have any cable channels at all. Overall i felt that this was not an oversight. I mentioned these things to the attendant at the desk at checkout and she said she could have moved us to another room the previous night had I mentioned these issues then but since we booked with expedia she couldn't do anything to help. Breakfest was very poor also. People were pleasant but should have know the room was a disgrace. My son and I had driven for 14 hours before arriving at this disgrace of a hotel.

the room was clean, the jetted tub was dirty. we had to shovel out our own doorway to enter. the staff was very nice.

157 Best room in Kirkland Lake. Excellent Breakfast open at 6 am not after you are off to work. Nice Bar. Friendly Staff !

Fast and friendly

The motel room across from the main building where I thought we were going to be was not clean.Inside Doors and bathroom Walls were very visibly dirty.There was grime in the corners of the bathroom floors and when we went to get into bed the sheet was stained so badly we called to have them change the sheets. You can sleep in a barn if there’s clean hay in the manger, but no one wants to lay in the gutter.This establishment obviously doesn’t understand Canadian Hotel standards of cleanliness.

In the first room i booked, the tpilet kept running, di i opted for another smaller room. Had to cakk someone to get the tv running, then the coffee machine would not work in the morning. Later that day the fridge quit and defrosted while we were out. Staff reslly need to take care of such issues. No revate was given even though we went to a smaller room and the other issues faced.
