This was our 4th stay at Barceló Hamilton. Do book a room with a sea view balcony, it’s worth it, as in the welcome shade later in the day. Marvellous view of the harbour with sea traffic all day. Appreciate the rooftop jacuzzis, complemented by large “courtyard” pool and separate covered pool in addition. Easy bus ride (or 30 min walk) into Mahon from where the whole of the island is accessible and 10 min walk round the corner to Cala Fonts full of restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.

The room had no air conditioning so it was far too hot to sleep. Parking was a nightmare as spaces are very limited so had to find a street away from the hotel. Breakfast wasn’t great quality and pigeons leaving faeces in the area which I appreciate isn’t the hotels fault but perhaps a cover over the outside area. Staff helpful and friendly and overall modern clean hotel. Disappointed whirlpools on roof were freezing cold.

Petit déjeuner impeccable avec une très belle vue. Petite remarque sur les finitions peintures de la chambre, manque de prise au niveau table de nuit , fil trop court pour brancher la bouilloire, et robinetterie légèrement oxydée.

Well appointed hotel with friendly staff. Included breakfast buffet had good choice of menu options, although some 'hot plate' dishes disappointed (not kept properly hot). Cooked to order eggs / omelettes was a good option however. Swimming pools were clean but quite small for any serious swimming.

Always a quality choice on offer. A well stocked buffet. The staff are very efficient and friendly. Food delicious. A special mention goes to Monica and to Paki one of the chefs.

Lovely room with extra big bed, good shower. Sea view and balcony a bonus. Huge choice for breakfast. Nice bread and pastries - even cava! Coffee machine with nice coffee.

Excelente hotel, disfrutamos de una estancia maravillosa. Como aspectos de mejora tener la habitación hecha antes, eran las 15:00 y aún no la teníamos limpia.

My wife and I had a wonderful week at Barcelo Hamilton. The hotel is in a perfect location above where the promenade of the picturesque harbour of El Castell begins. From there it’s easy to tale a leisurely stroll with plenty of places to stop for drinks, meals, and shopping. We had a superior room with a spectacular sea view which was ideal for watching the never ending procession of boats of all shapes and sizes entering and leaving the port at Mahon. The staff are helpful and friendly. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast was excellent with choices for all tastes. The pool and the rooftop jacuzzis are great, as is the rooftop bar with panoramic views. All in all it’s a great hotel in a perfect location.

We stayed for a week here & found it a nice Adults Only oasis away from little people. It is nicely located with great sea views and very tranquil. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance and the restaurant does an excellent breakfast menu with plenty of choice. Staff are friendly and welcoming too.

This was our 3rd stay at Barcelo Hamilton and wouldn’t consider anywhere else in the neighbourhood. East stroll round to Cales Fonts in 5 minutes, equally up to bus stop to Mahón and beyond. Be sure to get a sea facing room with balcony, possibly more expensive but worth every penny.

Great place to stay if you don’t want to stay in the capital, walking distance to the bus stop for trips into town and connecting bus to anywhere on the island.

Unglaublich schöne Lange mit viele schöne Restaurants in der Nähe, sowie mit einem Bus in der Nähe mit Anbindung an Mao. Ich würde aber unbedingt ein Auto mieten.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location. Although our room was over where work men were working, would have preferred a sea view.staff were helpful and friendly , they plenty of choice for breakfast.

Second stay at this property and once again it didnt disappoint. The sky bar was open this time which was great. Plunge pools and.plenty of sunbeds mademit a really relaxing stay. Reception staff are all so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast options. Loved our stay and will definitely return.
