Food wasn’t that great we ate off site most of the time. Reservations are a little confusing

Staff always went above and beyond. Property was clean and well maintained.

I was warmly received by the staff, and had a great weekend trip with all inclusive amenities. Fair warning to those hoping for a fridge and a microwave: these are not included but the buffet and free drinks available more than make up for this. I would recommend this place for any first timers in Vallarta.

Was spread out but was nice having the merina so close for shopping

We recently stayed at Vamar Vallarta All Inclusive Marina & Beach Resort and overall had a mixed experience. Before the security situation in Puerto Vallarta occurred, the resort itself was very enjoyable. The accommodations were comfortable, the buffet was well stocked with good variety and there were plenty of activities and entertainment options available. The staff we encountered were generally friendly and working hard to keep things running smoothly. Unfortunately, once the cartel-related security situation developed in the area, the experience changed quite a bit. We were scheduled to check out, however because of the situation we had to book additional nights until we could leave. At that time, the resort charged us more per night than we originally paid. Many resort services were reduced — about half of the buffet stations were closed, most activities and entertainment stopped and the Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable. This made communication difficult at a time when many guests were trying to contact family members, airlines and consular services for information. Communication from the resort during the situation was also limited and many guests seemed unsure about what was happening or what steps they should take. That said, we do recognize that this was a difficult and unusual situation for the resort staff as well and we appreciate that they continued operating and providing food and accommodation during a stressful time. We met people who were staying in other hote

Food options. Did not offer many options for people with food allergies. Couldn’t get oat, almond or soy milk.

Enjoyed the pool and beach Thought the man that chevked us out was rude. All the restaurant staff was very nice. I asked for cranberry juice, was disapointed was very sweetand did not taste like cranberry juice

The room is very dated, and the resort is small. The food is just okay; prepare to wait in line. The pools are cold but they are clean. The location is their strength, convenient to the marina entrance. Staff are friendly, english speaking limited to senior staff. If they renovated, they could be that diamond in the ruff.

Room was clean, decent activies during the day, Food was ok, only down side was our view was bit of a left down but we hardly spent time in the room so wasn’t a deal breaker

Had a FUN stay, the staff was AWESOME. Been staying at the Vamar for over 5 years now. Not fancy (don’t need fancy) but best value for us.

Uff.. bueno. Primero, el hotel es viejo, muy viejo. Es familiar el hotel. Muchos retirados. La habitacion es grande, tiene cocineta pero no esta equipada. No tiene refrigerador para mantener bebidas frias. Los colchones duros, las alhmoadas igual. El lavabo del bano olia a drenaje pero estaba conectado a la habitacion y no habia forma de cerrar el olor. Igual habia una ventana sobre el lavabo la cual dejaba entrar luz y no podia cerrarse. La tele pese que tenia Netflix y varios, no se podia ver ya que no estaba habilitado los permisos. El minisplit daba directo a las camas por lo que no se podia prender sin que diera directo. Si lo apagabamos hacia calor. Personal amable. Tiene muchas areas de deportes pero no tenia gimnacio. Los buffets no estaban atractivos. El restaurante a la carta muy rico. Muy bien ubicado. Hubo fiesta de mariachi y duro hasta las 11.00PM, no pude dormir. Iba de trabajo con mi sra.

Great location that has both Marina and beach views. The resort spans two areas and has four pools. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The room was cleaned daily and food was good with the hotel having different food night themes. There are also two specialty restaurants. We met serveral fellow travelers that have been coming to this resort for years. I would highly recommend it.

Yes all good

Clean and spacious room. A bit surprised as no coffee pot or fridge. Has a full kitchen but nothing in it.

In need of more buffet staff at dinner. Our poor server was run off of his feet and unfortunately had to share tips with some others doing very little.
