Great hotel! It was modern, spotless, bright. Our room was in fantastic condition. So very clean and perfectly maintained. The beds were exceptionally comfy! The hotel is easily accessible at just a short jaunt off the main highway. And it is about a 3 minute drive/ 8 minute walk to the main area of town by the waterfront. Everything you could need is within walking distance. And there's plenty of parking. We are world travellers. We've stayed in all manner of hotels, motels and resorts, from ultra-modern chic to dirt floor with tin roof. While The Strata may not be the Shangrila, it is as nice as any Marriott, Hyatt or Delta class hotel we've experienced. And at less than half the price. Our son has moved to Kingston for school. We'll be visiting often, and we're delighted to have found our go to hotel!

Very nice hotel. Quick check in, quiet room (although it is beside the major road, it was not badly noisy at night. Very clean and comfy beds.

The place was prestine and the staff was amazing

The hotel was a clever use of old office spaces, done neatly and modernly. Things I did not like were the roughness fo the sheets, the heat of the hallways and subsequently the room, and the constant road noise throughout th night.

Staff was very friendly and kind. The bed in our room had hair folded into the sheets, not very clean. Could do for a better cleanliness experience to match the positive experience we had with the staff

Our daughters have gone to and is going to queens, we use this hotel anytime we stay in Kingston. It is also pet friendly! We have been using this for the last 2021 and have never had a bad experience.

Stayed at Strata over the weekend. Easy check-in and friendly front desk. Rooms are very clean. The only improvement is putting possibly carpet in the hallways to dampen noise as people walk/run through the hallways.

I was a bit surprised to see this was in a strip mall, but once inside it was fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We've already booked a return trip for our son's Grad at Queen's

They wouldn’t take my Mastercard debit for the deposit so I had to stay elsewhere

There was a hockey tournament happening at the same time with several dozen children between the ages of 9-12 years old. We weren’t aware when we booked for a two night stay. They continuously ran up and down the hallway banging on all of the room doors and screaming until after midnight. I mentioned it in the morning on the second day and was told that the team signed a waiver stating they would behave and that the hotel would speak with the coaches. It happened again on the second night again. By 10pm I called the front desk and let them know it was happening. They said that they would look into it. The kids just went further down the hallway screaming and banging on doors.
