Too many homeless around the hot

Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had a fantastic time on our vacation and after the adventures of the day and enjoying the city it felt like going home to relaxing comfort

Arrived late and the doors were locked and had a difficult time getting the front desk to unlock the door, even though they saw me sta ding there knocking through the window. Water pressure was low also. Parking structure was across the street in separate building.

Clean, safe, great location!

Front desk, concierge, and both restaurants on the main floor were very friendly especially to my kids. We booked last minute and was worried a hotel like OMNI would not be kid friendly and I couldn’t have been more wrong, at least about this location.

Over all amazing trip don’t really like the downtown area but the Omni man that hotel is beautiful and every person who works there were the most genuine people

We loved the location.

It was a nightmare the minute we tried to check in. They didn’t have our reservation and couldn’t find it anywhere. I gave them our confirmation number and they still couldn’t find it. The girl helping us turned us over to a manager, Diane Soto, who didn’t talk to us about what was happening. We were just standing there in the dark. It was 3:40 and we were supposed to be somewhere at 4 and I told her that and she replied, “ Well, check in isn’t until 4 anyways, so you can come back”. I was appalled. Then, when we got home, we noticed that she charged our card even though we had already paid through the website and we told her we had! It took 3 phone calls and over a week to get the money reimbursed. We definitely will spend our money elsewhere.

Proximity to Gaslamp & bridge to Petco make this the ideal property for baseball (Padres) fans!

We had a great time staying at the Omni! This was our first time staying here and we want to come back. Right outside of the hotel you are a block away from the trolleys, Gaslamp, convention Center. We went to water taxi to Coronado and that was only a 10 min walk. We also had Padres tickets and took advantage of the private bridge Omni had to the Stadium. We spent our last hour enjoying drinks at Tortuga and the sunshine by the pool. It was quiet, relaxing and a great way to end our trip.
