Nothing more than average. TV issues when we started but staff helped. Smoke smell in the hall and stairwell. Probably won’t stay here again.

Room was clean.

Room was clean but the carpet was dirty as our socks and feet were black. Only had waffles for hot breakfast. Definitely not a 8+ , more like a 6.

We were driving through and checked in after mid-night. The staff was fantastic, very kind and respectful. We found a few issues with our room 1- The bedsheet, even though it looked clean, it had some sort of clear pieces on it that were rough and we had to remove them. 2- The shower had very low pressure because half of the pressure was leaking from the faucet below. 3- The paint around the shower was peeling all over the place. 4- The towels were extremely rough/harsh on the skin. 5- Housekeeping knocked and woke us up at 10am even though the checkout was later.

Adequate for a short stay

Room was great. Easy checkin, checkout. Really close to highway and main roads but also off the path a little, easy to get to places downtown. Looks like a tiny possibly rundown or sketchy hotel from outside but nice inside and clean and up to date. Breakfast is very small and not awesome but it works.

Thebroom was fine. It was clean enough. The couch and chair/ottoman were pretty busted. The shower head was wild and the switch for the shower didn't fully close off so the bathtub got pretty full.

Positives: front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Room generally clean. Wi-Fi excellent. Negatives: towels very old and scratchy, should be replaced. Carpet need to be cleaned, feet end up very dirty. Breakfast very substandard, no hot food or protein, just carbs: cereal, Bagels, bread, juice & coffee.

This was a hard one to rate for me. The staff is super kind and friendly. The location is good for a quick stay and then getting back on the road. I realize you get what you pay for, but I think the cleanliness/condition was my biggest concern. There were multiple pubic hairs in our bed. We lifted up the blankets to find several hairs on the fitted sheet along with just random debris like someone ate in the bed. I’d think even for a cheaper hotel they’d change the linens between guests. There was a couch in our room that had several holes in the fabric with metal nails and sharp parts sticking out. The bathroom and the rest of the room were clean, so I can’t complain about anything else. Overall, the stay was okay for one night, but I was just grossed out by the fact that they don’t change linens.

Suitable for my needs as a solo traveller needed a place to rest my head for the night. The place has some age, and could stand some upgrades and deep cleaning, but I had no complaints about the condition of my room. Everything worked as intended, the towels and linens were clean, my bathroom was tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. I slept great, and was able to hit the road first thing in the morning. The area is quiet, safe, and easily accessible from the interstate. For the price, I was very satisfied with my experience. The staff were wonderful -- warm, welcoming, and attentive. There was always somebody at the desk to greet me. I returned to my room late at night and as the hotel does not have key entry after hours, the front desk staff verified my room key before allowing me entry -- a safety feature I appreciated. Breakfast was simple (waffle station, cereal, coffee, and bagels/English muffins/toast with accompaniments) but I was grateful, because you often do not get this service in budget accommodations. Overall it was a good experience, and I would recommend it to travelers looking for a good deal for a quick stay.

Room was clean and facilities were reasonably nice for the relative price. Towels and pillows could use a massive upgrade. 3 small pillows is insufficient for two adults, as is two (rough) towels. Upgrading those would take it from 4 stars to 5 in price bracket.

Very cordial, quick and professional. Also, the body wash and shampoo installation for the showers is the best yet. No bars to worry about plus costs you money, etc. Everything very well done.

Very dirty

We have come to depend on Horizon Inn for the value it affords us for just a few more dollars in this market. We have tried other hotels in this lower price tier with mixed to unsatisfactory results. Horizon is always welcoming, no-nonsense and very accommodating. Two points off for this trip - 1. Instant cereal (oatmeal) in the breakfast nook but no hot water and no apparent microwave to fix it with (??) 2-Mattress probably nearing it's commercial lifespan Otherwise, clean, well kept, everything works on the first try.

Staff was excellent, room was clean, parking was good. It was just what we needed.
