Nice hotel the room was clean and fresh

Staff/owners were extremely friendly, they couldnt be more helpful with recommendations, free cookies on arrival and the two little cars. They also gave free tea and coffee in the mornings as well as pastries and other breakfast goodies. The room was clean and spacious. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. I would certainly stay here again.

Really liked the beach access, the theme of the hotel and the indoor pool and hottub. The restaurant next door was too expensive but having a liquor store and the attached mini mart was nice.

Clean and comfy rooms. Very quiet. Parking was easy. The front desk staff were very friendly.

Everything was great

Door heated pool, hot tub, games, literally steps from the beach, just cross the street. You can see and hear the beach. The owner, Joe, is amazing. Best hotel ever for a simple, relaxing, vacation. Wish we could stay longer! Dolphin and whale tours close by, restaurants a short walk, man. You cannot get here on Hwy 1 from San Francisco. You have to go around. As of 8.30.25, highway 1 is closed.

Nice renovations and was well upgraded and comfortable beds

Super fun hotel! The owner was checking us in and she was a delight! There are retro appliances in the room and even though it’s an older hotel they have taken it, redid everything and it is a fabulous place to stay! So worth the trip even if you have to travel around where the 1 is closed! Such a great deal! And a 5 minute drive to the Hearst Castle! What more would you want!
