It was like a castle and they treated us like royalty

Front desk reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Location perfect. View was exceptional. Good breakfast. Would highly recommend.

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel. From the warm friendly welcome through to the equally friendly goodbye everything was spot on. Every staff members we met were so friendly and service was of a very high standard. We will stay here again

Beautiful view from lounge, friendly stuff, very clean, awesome sheets, comfortable bed.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. Good breakfast. Jason who drove the shuttle very accommodating. The room was nice but lacked storage space in the bathroom. The bathroom fan cycling on and off was irritating. And it didn’t clear the steam from the shower. Pillows were flat and hard. But even with these shortcomings I’d stay there again.

A beautiful calm hotel with the friendliest of staff !

Lovely hotel in a nice part of Salisbury just a 15 minute delightful walk into the city. Free shuttle service in the evenings. The staff & the service were excellent. The view from our room & from the bar terrace is outstanding, open countryside, the river & the cathedral. Highly recommended.

For disability people is not friendly. The main hotel does not have elevator (lift). Only stair which is very inconvinuos for the luggage. The restaurant is amazing with lovely view. Staff very friendly

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Riverside, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had in a long time. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions, arranging transportation, or simply checking in to see if everything was perfect, their dedication was remarkable. Overall, The Riverside is a true gem that offers the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay, and I can’t wait to return!

Stayed 2 nights, loved everything. The check in, guy took us to our room..the room, beautiful, spotlessly clean, room 34 perfect. Parking on site...fantastic. Walk into town about 10 mins, so easy. Great view of River Avon and Cathedral from deck. Can't recommend this place enough...do stay there.

Staff were very friendly. Complementary drinks vouchers and also a complementary shuttle bus to and from town were fantastic touches. It’s a shame they don’t offer food in the evening. Lovely location, great setting with the cathedral in the background

Very exceptional stay at Riverside. Lovely big room, well heated and very comfortable. Beautiful view from the bar terrace and lovely staff. We were told our breakfast was included mistakenly, however the hotel allowed us to have coffee and tea. Highly recommend!

Fantastic one night stay for my birthday, to visit Salisbury playhouse.

We upgraded to the Grasmere room for a bit extra cost. Fabulous uninterrupted views over the river to the cathedral.superbly comfortable bed. Conrollable heating and windows that open. Complete peace and privacy- Perfect staff throughout. A coutesy shuttle bus to town We recommend this hotel!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in
