no blanket in the room in such cold weather. the reception people did not speak english at all and was not helping. awful rooms and the location was very hard to find. will never stay there again!

If u dun have a car,please dun take this hotel. even the view is so nice, the room is tidy, but it is very very inconvenience!!!

Nice and clean hotel. Food is very good and tasty in the restaurant, but poor breakfast. The location is not convenient at all, if you don;t have car, then don;t choose this hotel. Take bus No. 37 from the Firenze SMN station, just the main exit of the station, and get off bus at stop" sense 35", (around 30mins drive), will pass the gas station, then you need to keep walking upward for 15-20 mins. around the street "Via Montebuon" Not easy while walking with luggage. Except the location, everything is nice and worthy to stay this hotel. The restaurant is very nice, offer high standard food, and service.

Hotel Villa Ambrosina is quiet, off the beaten path with beautiful views. I absolutely loved the room. It had a beautiful terrace overlooking the hills of Tuscany. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful for only 5 euros. I will caution everyone that it's a very hilly approach from the town, but we walked to a local store for supplies with no problems at all. I loved this stay.

Trevligt familjehotell uppe på höjden utanför Florens. Fint rum men WiFi funkade bara ute i korridoren så det var lite synd. Åk däremot inte endast efter GPS för då är det mycket smal gata upp till hotellet som har en egen privat väg till hotellet som inte kommer upp på vanlig GPS

Very nice hotel at the top of a mountain with a great view. Beautiful and quiet area to walk around. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was quite good. Going up the mountain in the taxi was quite scary as the roads are very narrow and steep. The room doesn’t have a minibar, which would have been nice. Definitely would come back and recommend it to those looking for some quiet and relaxing time.

Our stay in this hotel was wonderful. The guy at the front desk make our stay feel like home. Help us Dutch everything we need. The only thing about this place it’s transportation hard to find a taxi. Other than that all is excellent!!!! Will recommend for a quiet gateway.

Endroit magnifique avec une vue du haut des montagnes à couper le souffle. Le personnel était très accueillant offrant également de bonnes recommandations de restaurants. On a tellement aimé qu’on a prolongé notre séjour d’un soir additionnel!

Up on a hill so a bit hard to get to, even by car

Hotel Villa Ambrosina is up a steep hill with Commanding views of the Tuscan countryside from the top, it was a 15 minute drive from Florence and we parked in a big car park just inside the city walls which was great. The hotel is slightly dated, reception were helpful and there is a separate restaurant on site, the road to the hotel is narrow but there is a better alternative route!
